Wild party leads to child porn charges
That sure took a turn for the worst.
On the bright side for him, his minutes of fame is going to be extended because of the charges.

HAHAHA that was like the funniest interview ever, until I saw the other news articles, I thoguht it was fake too!
Anyways, that kid is just digging himself a deeper hole, he's going to be in such shit when he finally has to face his parents. BTW, how the hell are media members finding him, yet his parents can't?!? I mean, it says he won't return home and all, so I'm inferring his parents still can't get in contact with him. However how is doing all these interviews and such?

I know... but despite my mistake, this happened in Victoria, so what I assumed was aus-wide still applies here...
As for defences, obviously the defence wont be applicable if you didn't fulfil the elements, same as all defences.
However once the elements are fulfilled (ie. a 14yo having sex with a 12yo) it becomes legal due to the defence.
It is relatively easy to make this an easy acquittal due to there being no objective nature to it.

I got 400 and something. Try it with a slight up angle...

257's my best, I think I could beat it in person
Edit: 268.
Mon Jan 21, 2008 8:16 pm
I slapped him 301 metres....

The guy is obviously a cockhead, but you can imagine that being pretty funny for you and your mates.
This happened about 20 minutes drive away from me. Heaps of neighbours houses got vandelized. Typical 16 yr old attitude, aim for popularity at the expense of others.
Btw i got 328 on that game.
Tue Jan 22, 2008 6:34 am
I got 329 metres. I think I slapped him hundred times before I get this.

Corey Delaney hired as party promoter
Manager Max Markson has taken young Corey under his wing, lining up the promotions gig with Activate Media + Events - and will pocket 20 per cent of anything Corey earns.
"I'm hoping to make him in the next year $50,000 to $100,000," Mr Markson said.
"He's the most famous and popular 16-year-old in Australia at the moment.
Not exactly the most positive message to any teenagers entering their senior years at high school but there you have it.

What I don't understand about his appeal is the fact that when he talks in interviews and whatever, he just comes across as a complete moron who doesn't really know what to say... like he's nervous or something. I know he dresses like he thinks he's God's gift and he was a smart ass in that interview, but otherwise he just seems like a dumb, nervous kid.
Thu Jan 24, 2008 10:14 pm
We'd gone almost 4 days without hearing anything. He was about to fade into nipple-pierced obscurity, then they decide to drag this dead horse back into the street and pull the whip out.

Not only that, but it's not as though he has a true gift as an entertainer or party planner/event co-ordinator or whatever you want to call it. Deciding to throw a party and letting word of mouth spread to the point where a whole bunch of gatecrashers turn a gathering into a wild frenzy isn't really a sign of management or organisational savvy.

this is getting ridiculous if you ask me.
im gonna start the biggest party horshams ever seen and get famous
Fri Jan 25, 2008 4:14 pm

Also, congrats for having 16000 posts
What has gone to the people's mind? They're hiring a guy who just know how to party but a bad model for the young and they are giving him an opportunity to earn money for being dumb.

Why not? Then maybe you can also be
called a genius or even hailed as
Australia's Paris Hilton.

But that's the thing, he doesn't necessarily know how to plan and throw a good party so much as he knows how to create a riot. He put an open invitation on MySpace for people to come and "trash the average-sized family house". That's not a skill, it's a desire to cause mayhem.
Sat Jan 26, 2008 11:40 am
just cause you host a party does not mean you know how to throw a party. hell i could call my brother right now, tell him to get a party going, then sit on my ass til people get here and run around yelling "i fucking own cause i threw this awesome party"

Me and my best friend sat on the front porch of his house once smoking bongs and drinking, from about 11am to 6pm without calling anyone and 30 people showed up in the course of the day. A retarded monkey could post a bulletin on myspace saying there's a party, why do they think he would be a good promoter?
Sat Jan 26, 2008 11:34 pm
I recall in his initial interview when the bitchy reporter asked what his message to other teenagers who are also planning to hold a party, and the idiot answered "get me to do it". It's a pretty good marketing statement given the current situation at that moment.
It's the second most convincing marketing slogan next only to this one:
What if you could learn shooting from perhaps the best shooter in basketball history. JJ Redick.

It must come down to his "popularity". The promoter he's just signed with claimed he's now widely popular with 13-18 year olds, so I guess he figures if nothing else his mere presence at an event with his name on the marquee will be enough to bring people in, while more experienced people take care of the finer details.
