Any of you guys imagine Arnold to have the lead roll in this picture? He was cast back in the late 90's, but the movie was to expensive to make. So it never went through .

I've just read about that on Wikipedia. Can't believe they even considered Arnie for such dramatic role.

It would've been the cheesiest movie ever if it would've been produced back then.

I know. Just imagine him being the last man alive. He'd be pumping that iron and telling some austrian/american jokes to himself . Can't really think how the movie would turn up. I could imagine Nicolas Cage or Edward Norton in this film, but definitely not him.

I'm glad they picked Will in the end.

Arnold in the movie could work if it was a blast/gunfest.
No telling jokes to himself, make him spend time hunting those things in the morning.

Arnold would probably work in the opening scenes where hunting and sniper rifles play a major role. Though the ending definitely would not suit him. Throwing a grenade? Come on, Arnold would probably get a rocket luncher and blast those things himself.

Arnold would also probably kill those things with boobie traps and kill them with his bare hands.
He could also kill them with his jokes.
