Yeah i'd say I have only 2 reasons to believe Bill Hicks isnt the greatest of all time (although he's in my top 5).
1. With all his albums: he repeats himself alot, its like he came up with some really good material 1 time and never really changed it.
2. He seems very bitter about his station in life (he constantly alludes to how much it sucks and all that)...that gets to me. You have to be pretty damn lucky to make a living doing stand up

Bumping this to say that I discovered Tim Minchin on YouTube a couple of weeks back, and lost hours of the ensuing days. The guy is just awesome. Even managed to considerately schedule a show in Perth last Wednesday, not a week after I found out about him. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, or Newcastle: go buy tickets.

Thought i'd mention Katt Williams. I find his stuff pretty hilarious. Was lucky enough to see Pablo Fransisco earlier this year when he came to Sydney. Some familiar jokes he mentioned, and some new ones, nonetheless, this guy is crazy. Some others to mention.....Dave Chappelle, Russell Peters, Eddie Murphy.
