I knew you were disheartened with the current NLSC and all that, but shit, i never thought you would actually leave. Everybody thinks "oh yeah we saw it coming". No way! I didn't.

Matthew i could deal with, but Jae's exit really hurts. Pretty much had the biggest presence/influence in NLSC history.

I don't really understand the whole deal of deciding to make an "official" leave. Why not just eventually slow down your posting until you don't do it anymore. Then 6 months go past and you forget the NLSC exists. That's what i did.

Anyway, the NLSC is a completely different place starting from today. It shall suck with Jae gone, but from another point of view, it will be extremely interesting.

Anyway, who's to say i wont suprass Jae as the best poster ever? ASTIGGGG!

As a few others have said I had a gutt feeling something along these lines was going to happen. A very sad day in NLSC history, possibly the poster I respected the most.

I wasn't reminding anyone about how long i've been around. I was talking about how long you've been around..and i'd have expected better because of that; I expected such comments from the "n00bs". How you interprit that as me talking about myself is beyond me. Yet after having a conversation with a certain someone on msn...i understand now. How naive of me.

In the end..all im saying is..how bout a bit more support for the nlsc in these times from everyone. Is that too much to ask?.. Contribute something and help the forum/site continue instead of professing "the end of the nlsc".

Jae should release a book now that he has left. "Confessions of an NLSC Moderator." Give us a prolonged version of how he really feels. I cant even think of anyone who could or should be replacing him...even Jackal wont do it. Ah well......must be tough on Andrew about now.

I thought your intentions were basically: How can you make a claim like that. i'd expect more support from the nlsc vets about a claim like that. or doesn't it matter that i've been around here for a long time.

But after a re-read, you were talking about me all along.

Same thing i've been doing for over 6 years...being a mod and up until recently..contributing my patches. I'm certainly not one of the more vocal people around here based on my post count but i do my share. I won't be saying the nlsc is over until i step my game up around here and give it my best to keep this place going..especially since jae and matt are now gone. I don't feel like i can relax and take it easy anymore with those guys not here.

Holy crap. That's all I can say. Jae was a big reason why I love this place and was a perfect complement to the conservative Andrew (in terms of flaming people) and personalities of Yohance and Matthew. I really hope you'll return in shortest time possible. You not being around here would only fasten the degradation of this community that was initiated with the drop of quality of the Live series.

I know there is a world outside of this forum. I hardly spend my time here anymore. I visit this place like 5 times a week, so it's kind of in the back of my mind (no offence).

This place was better when I first joined, a lot of funny users/posters, but now...not so much.

Not only does it suck that Jae is leaving, but it's down right sad that Coolmac's farewell as more posts than this thread.

I have the same sentiments as Andrew (great post btw). I think we all need to try to come together to make this place better like it was before. No pointing fingers.. 8-Hype, funk99, Sit, and other posters like them aren't to blame for the decline of this place. There have always been some really dumb ass people around here, but everyone is letting things get to them too much here. Maybe it's because nobody is having fun, so petty shit becomes magnified.... I really don't know. I don't know about everyone else here, but I'm going to try to be a better poster because of this....

Sarcasm aside yea i do have things up my sleeve. If andrew werent the admin..someone else would be..if bush wasn't the president someone else would be. If osama died..someone else would take his place..the point is..thats their role...a mod is my role. All i want is for people to find/fill their roles to help this place.
