MONTH #4
Despite his relatively young age, and having not even made an appearance for the Paris Under 18's yet, #12 was surprisingly called up to represent Cambodia's Under 21 side. He was immediately picked to play on the right wing in a 1-0 friendly loss to Singapore Under 21's. Most players his age would be over-awed by the occassion, but #12 remained calm, putting in a strong performance against players much older than him. This has not gone unnoticed as he remains in the squad for another friendly against Indonesia Under 21's. Still yet to make his Under 18 debut for Paris, playing for the Cambodian national team at such a young age will no doubt give #12 some global exposure.

After his immense performance against Leeds Reserves, Andreas was rewarded by receiving a call up to the Sweden Under 19's team to play in their last European Under 19's Championship qualifying game against group leaders Russia. Thrown right into the central defensive line, Dahl gave a typically solid performance. With both teams already qualified for the next stage, the match was fairly uneventful and ended in a 1-1 draw. Impressed by his performance on the international stage, Sweden Under 19's coach Stig Fredriksson has given the central defender spot to Dahl for the time being. Andreas returned from his stint with Sweden and was slotted right back into the Newcastle Reserves team for a big game against Liverpool. Despite being somewhat jet-lagged, Dahl was his typical reliable self, repelling attacks from players like Florent Sinama-Pongolle, Neil Mellor and England international striker Peter Crouch as the match ended 1-1.

Bang remains an integral member of the successful Sao Paulo Under 20's squad, playing in all three of their league games during the month and also making another appearance for South Korea's Under 21 team. Bang struggled in a 1-0 loss against Juventus (SP) Under 21's, he found it hard coping with the speed of their frontline and was substituted at half time. With a rest inbetween games, Bang made his second appearance for South Korea Under 21's and was extremely impressive against Iran, setting up the opening goal. However the same couldn't be said for his teammates as the game finished a 1-1 draw. Returning to Sao Paulo, Bang kept his international form going, putting in a quality match and leading his team to a 2-1 away win against Sao Bento (SP). Backing up just one night after, Bang showed signs of fatigue and struggled against Santo Andre. Despite this, the team still won the match 1-0 and sit 2nd in the Brazilian Under 20's Group 9.

Unfortunately for cwebbiverson, his chances at breaking into the AC Milan Under 20's first team were dealt a huge blow, when the team signed American superstar Freddy Adu for £1.3 million. Playing the exact same position as cwebb, Adu has been in spectacular form keeping the youngster out of the squad.
After being left out of the team in a 2-2 draw against Ejido, Dadinha made his return against Lorca and while he didn't get on the scoresheet, Sevilla still recorded a 2-1 win. Relegated to the bench in his next two games, Dadinha still played well as Sevilla defeated both Valladolid and Betis Under 18's 2-0 respectively. Returning to the first team in a Group 2 match with Elche, Dadinha reminded the coaching staff of his talents by scoring a goal in the 63rd minute to wrap up a 3-0 demolition for Sevilla. His performance would've earnt him man of the match honours if it wasn't for a magnificent showing from 18 year old defender Crespo. While his form of late has been patchy, Sevilla continue to dominate their opposition and sit second in the Spanish Under 18 Group 2 league. Dadinha currently sits equal first in the scoring charts for Sevilla Under 18's, tied with the prolific Fernando Rodriguez.

After some strong training sessions and alot of patience, it took an injury to Johnthan Evans for Dean to make his debut for Manchester United Under 18's. Being named on the bench for the match against Liverpool was an achievement in itself, but when Evans went down in the 40th minute, Dean was called upon to replace him in the line-up. Things didn't go to plan unfortunately, as his lacklustre backpass to goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler gave Liverpool's Ireland Under 19 star Conal Platt a perfect opportunity to score the goal which eventually won the game for Liverpool, 1-0. With Evans returning from injury, Dean continues to sit on the bench.

Drex was handed his first team debut for Real Madrid C in a friendly against Real Aviles Industrial. With the C team a purely developmental squad, they don't play in a league and have to rely on these friendlies for match practise. Drex was brought in off the bench at half time and was decent, but made a worrying amount of fouls on his opponents. Despite this, at his young age it's obvious that Real Madrid consider him a prospect for the future.

The hardest working NLSC'er in football, Jing returned to the Arsenal Under 18's squad full time after some players in the reserve squad returned from injury. After being rested in the match against Charlton Under 18's, he was brought back into the squad to face Brighton Under 18's. In a fairly boring game, Jing was strong in the midfield as the team won 1-0. The real acid test came in the next Group 4 match, against footballing giants Chelsea Under 18's. While most would struggle in such a big game, Jing put in the performance of his career, setting up a goal in the first half for Arturo Lupoli and controlling the midfield. Despite this, Chelsea equalised late in the game as it ended 1-1. In a somewhat easier game against Cardiff Under 18's, Jing once again drove the team around the pitch in a 2-1 win. His ability to stamp his authority on a game is being favourably compared to the Brazilian star Emerson within the club, and he will be under increasing pressure to perform at a high level consistantly.

Despite not being able to get anywhere near the Ajax Under 21's first team, Jugs was vaulted into the Croatian Under 19's starting line-up to play in their European Under 19's Championship qualifying campaign. His debut against Northern Ireland was a nervous affair, but Jugs played well despite the team only managing a 1-1 draw. The next game with Kazakhstan was no better. A country who's only social relevance is the Ali G character Borat should be steamrolled by larger European nations, however, Croatia came out spluttering and somehow lost the game 1-0. With only one game remaining, the Croatian team once again faultered against Austria. Jugs put in the worst performance of his short career, and the Croatians failed to qualify for the next stage, finishing last in their group. Despite his average showings, the team appears to have faith in Jugs and has kept him in the squad for an upcoming friendly against Portugal Under 19's.

A re-accurance of his toe injury kept Nick out of the Roma Under 20's squad for most of the month, and he grew increasingly despondent with having to spend most of his time on the sideline as opposed to on the field. The team struggled terribly without him, losing three games and drawing one. Finally cleared to play at the end of the month, Nick made his return in Group 1 against Messina Under 20's. And what a return it was. The Milan Under 20's ripped the Messina defense to pieces, all of it being orchestrated by the young Australian who finished the game with an assist in the 4-0 rapeage. If Nick can stay healthy he will definitely remain in the first XI, and with a big match against AC Milan Under 20's coming up he will be determined to avoid injury.

Sdude's fantastic improvement over the last few months was finally rewarded when first choice keeper Alejandro Carrasco went down with an injury. Thrown right into the first team against Levante Under 18's, sdude showed he probably wasn't ready to be playing just yet as he conceded two goals with Atletico losing only their second match of the season. Despite being scheduled to play against Real Betis Under 18's, sdude was called up to represent Estonia in their European Under 19 Championship qualifying matches. Playing in a tough group, sdude was the first choice 'keeper for Estonia and showed plenty of ability, conceding 4 goals in three games, most of them coming in a 1-3 loss to the Ukraine. After drawing 1-1 with Wales in the first game, Estonia's qualification came down to the final match against Denmark Under 19's. With the Danish team strong favourites to win the match, Estonia scored a goal early held on to complete a memorable 1-0 win with sdude getting the first clean sheet of his career.

Srbija just can't catch a break with Inter Milan's Under 20 team. He is down in the pecking order behind a group of Italian Under 19 internationals in the midfield, and may not make an appearance this season. The good news however, is that most of those midfielders will be too old for the Under 20's next season, and unlike Peachy, Srbija is well liked in the club and just being seen as too young to play as of yet.
After two disappointing draws against Hearts and Inverness, Rangers Reserves needed to show something against Aberdeen Reserves with first team manager Alex McLeish in attendance. Rangers won 1-0, and The X, while decent, didn't stand out in a game that could've given him a golden opportunity to play first team football. Despite this disappointment, The X focused his attention on the upcoming league game with Dundee United. In a game that could've gone either way, The X completely dominated from start to finish, setting up the first goal for Tunisian international Hamed Namouchi, before David Goodwillie equalized for the visitors. With time running out, The X scored the first goal of his career in the 72nd minute, sealing a 2-1 win and being named Man Of The Match.

Arsenal Reserves coach Tony Colbert made the decision to rest Thierry against Aston Villa Reserves, hoping that he would be 100% fit to face Chelsea afterwards. Aston Villa held on to a 1-1 draw, putting more importance on the next fixture. Starting up front on his own for Arsenal Reserves, Thierry struggled to do anything due to strong marking from the likes of Geremi and Steven Watt. Arsenal Reserves scored the first goal of the game, but it was quickly cancelled out by Carlton Cole who wrapped up the game ten minutes later with his second, and a 2-1 win for the Stanford Bridge side. Thierry's disappointing performance aside, he still remains the first choice striker in the reserves squad, and is still leading the goal scoring charts.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
I'll only be doing this once, but if you want to be released from your team let me know now. This might be a good idea for some, as a lesser team would give them more first team action, but for others not such a good idea, as you may still not play (i.e too young) or might not even be signed for another team. The biggest negative is that you have no control over where you play, but if you'd rather be released and go to another club tell me and I'll sort it out.
