People told me that Proof and Keith Bender were arguing back and forth about that king of Detroit bullshyt. The argument ended wit' Proof puttin' his finger all in Keith's face like shut that bullshyt up. Then they started wrestling then each other peoples got all in the mix. Keith got free, pulled his pistol, then busted shots in the air hopin' to scare people and clear the spot out. Then Proof pulled his pistol in the kaos and grabbed Keith and started pistol whippin' him. Proof got the best of Keith and he fell. Wit' Proof standing over him, Mario comes from behind and shot Proof in the back causing Proof's pistol to go off shooting Keith in the head. Then Mario popped Proof in the back of the head twice and got the fuck outta' there. Both of their bodies were laid in the empty club for minutes before people came back to pick up the bodies and drive them to the hospital

It keeps changing.

Proof was a cool easy going guy, I met him like 3/4 weeks ago...he was hosting a battle tournament and I got to talk to him after the show (had backstage passes courtesy of the mag im at) and he wasn't arrogant or nothing started joking with me and talking about how come he ain't seen no kangaroos yet lol

Yeah Proof wasnt a great MC but I heard he was generally the most down to earth from D12 and he's a pretty decent battle rapper Im not sure why everyone would just go on saying oh yeah lots of people get shot in the hood so we shouldnt show any respect and he deserves it, thats too thick.

I respected his rapping, I mean he wasn't on a Nas level or anything but dude was talented, and he lived through hip hop. By hosting a battle tournament overseas it just shows his passion for hip hop, that he's still doing things like that.
