Watched the third episode of this season. (It's out online.)

I'll wait for you to watch it next Tuesday then share my thoughts on it.

I'm sure I'd like this show if I watched it. My boss is a big fan, and I like Forrest Whitaker.

Forrest's out now though. He was no match for Vic. Only Vic can deal with Vic.

forrest whitaker was a prominent character throughout the season and did a really good job at making people hate him


and jackal, how far do the downloads go? im not really interested in watching the episodes before they are broadcast, but im curious to know how many more eps they got up already

Just the third one, it's rare though. It doesn't happen that often.

And yeah, to understand and truely hate Whittaker...you have to watch the Shield from the beginning. To understand why Whittaker is so after them.

watched the episode last night. fucking crazy. you tihnk Guardo's in the clear and then BAM! he gets shot. i usually don't get sqeemish when it comes to blood & violence on TV (hell, I used to love to watch those ER/paramedic/surgery shows) but I found it hard to watch him get whipped with the chain.

definitely loved the part where Dutch Boy pimps Tina
wish it didn't get interrupted by that chick.

Yeah, I was quite annoyed at the FBI (?) agent aswell.

What irritates me more & more as the show goes on how much of a pussy Shane is. How many people will have to suffer for something he did? Guardo was killed because Shane couldn't face up to what he did.

Every episode I despise him more and more. I think it's safe to say I hate him more than Kavanaugh, although it's a different hate. Kavanaugh was made to be hated. Shane though, Shane...Shane is Vic's boy, man. Jesus.

Also, female cop was quite impressed with Ronnie. Hell, Billings was gung ho about him. Wouldn't surprise me if Dutchboy got his heart handed to him as a "I see you more as a big brother opposed to anything else" situation.

I love Vic though. I usually only watch "The Sopranos" and this show. In The Sopranos, Tony is the lead character. In his sessions with Dr. Melphi he always asks her the question of what happened to the strong, silent types? They didn't whine, bitch & moan, they did something about it. (Which he admits, he can't be, given he sees a shrink.)

I'm quite sure Tony Soprano would love Vic Mackey.

Episode 4 & 5 just started via my RSS. Don't know if it's legit. Will watch tomorrow.

I'm kinda jealous, but i'm not. i prefer to watch one per week. otherwise, i'd get too greedy and want to watch them all

Well it seems I'll be done by May 10th, whereas you'll be done on June 4th.

The rips are coming from France, Canal+ France is showing 2 episodes a week from season 6. I think this is the first time an American show is shown elsewhere before it is in the US.

I'm not complaining, I'm going to try to watch them later today.

that's crazy. usually it takes a while to get american shows overseas. i heard in places like australia the dvd sales of tv shows are seasons behind.

No kidding, I've got season 01 & 02 on DVD. That's where it stopped. Mind you, I got those three years ago when I moved to Holland.

I've been waiting for season 03, 04 & 05 ever since. Why the delayed DVD release? Because Sony & FX couldn't agree upon who owned one of the songs used in one of the episodes, meaning it went to court and then they had a whole issue about who would issue the DVD's, Sony or FX.

Last I heard, Sony won, they'll be releasing the DVD's soon.

i think they released season 5 here in March (in preparation for season 6 on TV)

interesting to hear of the new guy on the show, "Vic's replacement". when Claudette told him, i was like shit, is he gonna kill another cop?

I like Hyatt so far, he's no Vic, but he isn't a dickwad either. So far then.

Watched episode 4, was so so. You probably won't be awed by it either. Five picks up though.

and on the preview for next week's episode Shane admits he killed Lem. I MUST SEE THE NEXT EPISODE IF YOU HAVE IT. that is all.

well usually you download the episode using the torrent right? do you delete the episodes right after you watch them or do you still have the episode on your computer? if you don't have it, it's no big deal. i can wait til Tuesday.

i watched episode 5 last night. it was so so, until the end. fucking crazy. i think i'll risk it on the torrent to see the next one.

edit: i'm downloading it right now... dang they already have ep 7 up. must resist the forces of evil. i'll watch ep 6 when i get back from class and post my thoughts.

Yeah, the end of 5 was woah.

Watched episodes 8 & 9. Both alright episodes, nothing wowifying about them.

9 ends well though. I really like how 9 ended.
