Floccinaucinihilipilification is the longest "official" word.
Floccinaucinihilipilification is the act or habit of esteeming or describing something as worthless, or making something to be worthless by said means. The OED dates its first use in literature at 1741 in William Shenstone's Works in Prose and Verse: "I loved him for nothing so much as his flocci-nauci-nihili-pili-fication of money".

Impressive... but at least it appears his life was good and he was loved, despite it lasting only 22 years.

Wow, that's definitely a "modern day" giant. I'm glad there was a picture included, cuz that's just absolutely stunning. He would've dominated on the hardwood.
Fri Feb 17, 2006 4:04 pm
Apparentely he hadn't stopped growing either, so had he lived he could've got up near 10ft

KRS-One - The greatest rapper of all time. One of the most versatile rappers and has been going strong since 1987. Consistently making good music while many of his '87 peers fell off into nothing. Sidenote, originally KRS-One was nothing more than a name originating from his name, Kris, yet when he became 'The Teacher' he adapted it to an acronym for Knowledge Rules Supreme Over Nearly Everyone.

I just watched the first BEEFS documentary, and I thought KRS-One was cool. Probably the highlight of the show was everyone's reaction to the Nelly vs. KRS-One beef
That, and 50 Cent saying he hated Ja Rule because he was a pop artist. What that makes him I'll never know.

Actually, he would probably been just a stick. Like Shawn Bradley, plus about 18 inches. I can't imagine how that would look.

Beethoven. One of the greatest composers of all time who, quite remarkably, wrote some of his best stuff after losing his sense of hearing.

The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror is a 2004 Christmas-themed horror novel by American author Christopher Moore. It occurs in the fictional town of Pine Cove, California, a recurring location in Moore's novels. It intertwines the previous stories of characters from his other books into an absurd situation.
An angel named Raziel is sent to Earth to grant the wish of a child; he chooses a child who has witnessed a man dressed as Santa Claus being murdered.
The angel brings "Santa" back to life, but as a flesh-eating zombie, and soon the town is under siege by the living dead.
Raziel previously appeared in Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal.
