Shaun Alexander is hurt so do the same predictions apply? Can a Seahawks team without Shaun Alexander win its first playoff game since 1984 (lol) and make the super bowl?

well they did im very impressed though cause i really thought Hasselback would choke and Alexander would have to carry them to victory but should he not play next week then i would have to go with the Bears as Hasselback is not that good

Good news for Seahawks fans.

Nah, they said the same thing in 2003.

Even if it is dead, it was a great era by the Pats. I remember how the Bronco's run ended, and it was generally felt that they would be the last "dynasty" (back to back championships isnt a dynasty). Then the colts won in 2002, and they still got no respect. They must have been the lowest ranking champion in madden's history the year after  .

Then they won back to back. What I'll never forget is last years run. They held the number 1 offense to 7 points (the colts), then scored 30+ on the number 1 defense in pittsburgh. That's dominance.

The pats will be feeling down, but they have nothing to be ashamed of. They have the best football team I have ever seen in my life. :applaud:

Sun Jan 15, 2006 4:06 pm

Thank God the Pats lost. I'm so sick of them. Really annoyed me when earlier in the season Brady spoke of how they werent getting respect. How much respect do you want?

Sun Jan 15, 2006 4:09 pm

Why would you get annoyed at that for? Tom Brady and the pats did win 3 out of the last 4 championships, they should have been given more respect (by myself included). But why would you take it so personally (what brady said)?

Sun Jan 15, 2006 4:25 pm

The Patriots struggled early in the season, everybody knows that. Even when they were struggling people were still saying "Watch out for the Pats, dont count them out," or "Bill will work through the injuries, he's a genius blah blah." I cant recall anybody going on a Pats bashing spree anytime this year. Everybody knows what New England is about and everybody knows they always come prepared for games. They never vanished off anybody's radar screen. Then all of a sudden you hear how Brady feels they are being disrespected and so forth, I wonder how. Saying that the Pats always figure out ways to win is disrespectful? I dont know if he just wanted some attention or what.

Anyways the earlier posts kinda sounds like I wanted them to lose because of what he said. Not Really. The Patriots are a good team but I kinda wanna see another team win it this year. Thats why I like football because if a team is good this year its not guaranteed the next so you are always in for surprises.

Well, I got $30 on the Steelers with the upset tomorrow. 8-)

Sun Jan 15, 2006 5:03 pm

I got the Colts winnig but I wouldnt be mad if the Steelers won.

Mon Jan 16, 2006 4:32 am

It's looking good for the Steelers! How about that Indy!?!

Mon Jan 16, 2006 4:44 am

Still in teh 1st quarter, hold your horses... :D

Mon Jan 16, 2006 5:26 am

OH NOES!?!?!

14-3 Pittsburgh at half time :o

Mon Jan 16, 2006 5:36 am

This game has me in a nervous wreck right now, but our last drive was good. Its a shame it had to end in a field goal, but we have the ball to start the second half, and I think if we punch it in we're in good shape.

Mon Jan 16, 2006 5:52 am

Too bad the Colts couldn't score anything when they had the ball to start the second half.

Mon Jan 16, 2006 5:54 am

If Pittsburgh wins its even better for the Broncos, we get to play at home, so i'm going w/ Steelers

21-3, baby!

Mon Jan 16, 2006 6:14 am

What were the odds the bookies gave you for yout bet, Ry?

Mon Jan 16, 2006 6:15 am

Colts really need to find something now, or else their fucked. They need some 4th quarter clutch 8-) Reggie Miller style

Mon Jan 16, 2006 6:16 am

Damn. That is leadership by Peyton there. 4th and 2 , a failure could give up more points to Pittsburgh and he steps up there , calls the punt team off , and converts.

Mon Jan 16, 2006 6:18 am

The sad fact is, when the Colts lose this game, his reputation of 'choker' will be further aggravated.

His numbers today are horrible.

Mon Jan 16, 2006 6:46 am

Manning's pass just got intercepted with 5 and a half minutes left, I think it's over for the Colts (N)
