possible, but it depends on the persons weight and the time frame in which it is drank. If an 80kg person drank a whole bottle of JD at once he would die, you can't argue that, it's chemistry. I'm too lazy to search for my old chem books but yes, we did study the maximum amount of alcohol a person can have before dieing.

If I'm not mistaken, I think it also depends on the person's tolerance... as in, the more often a person drinks, the more capable the person is of consuming greater amounts as a response to the body's adaptability.

Yes, but the point is that was Jae's first time. I don't think he had a high tolerance for alcohol on his first time.

He's 6'5" and with height comes weight and a better capacity to handle alcohol. With a whole bottle and all those beers, obviously, to drink all that, it'd have to be spread out throughout the night. The result: he obviously got plastered which led to his passing out and waking up with barf all over the place. That sounds plausible.

Matt is right about the certain amount of alcohol a body can take, but one must also take into consideration, vomitting. A person would die if his alcohol intake exceeded what his body can handle, that is IF his body abosorbed all the ingested alcohol. But if vomitting was involved, the amount of alcohol taken into the body would surely be less than what was actually taken up or drank.

Anyone tried Fireball Whisky? I got drunk by accident for the first time because I was enjoying it so much. I really don't drink too much though, I usually have a better time without :s

I was 6'3 when I was 14 and actually weighed about 50lbs more than I do now.

It wasn't the first time I'd ever drunk alcohol, it was the first time I'd ever been wasted. Also, as I mentioned I was throwing up all night... after about the 8th or so beer in fact. I was just young and stupid to not know what I was doing. As far as the bottle of JD goes, as I said that's what was next to me when I was passed out... I don't remember drinking it so I can't honestly say I did, but that's the conclusion everyone has come to. My memories of that night are ultra vivid... I can remember everything upto and including the point where I blacked out. I can actually remember blacking out.

For some reason that post made me think of that

blacking out is the worst. i've had a few times where i've woken up in my driveway trying to piece together how i got there

anyway my first time geting wasted was in Junior high- I think 7th grade. Wasn't memorable or something cliche from a movie. A few friends slept over and we raided my Dad's liquor stash. After a few swigs of the Chivas Regal and Bacardi, we all decided to switch to Old Style. We grabbed a 12 pack and took it outside to my yard and drank 'em there. We had some laughs and tried to play some Nintendo after hehe

The day after the black out is the worst feeling... especially if you go to school or something and people are just staring at you and you have absolutely no idea what you've done the night before

That sucks but all you got to do is wait til its their turn. Funny enough, it made no difference whether I was drunk or not at parties because I would still be one of the craziest guys there anyway.

i was on the bourbon that night, had 6 440ml cans. it didnt make me spew or anything, but i hate bourbon now because i had so much that night :?

my firwt time was a few months ago when I was still 12, and it was straight vodka. That really hurt going down and I puked my god damn guts out afterwards, so I stay away from vodka now.

Pre-mix unfortunately. Did nothing too, I am very suspicious of exactly how much alcohol they put in it.
