Absolutely pwns the Live 2006 for 360. I was blown away by the cut scenes and replay. It was like when you did a move, you didn't think it was anything special, but then you see a replay and you're amazed by how real the animations look. Plus, it actually has some features. Live 2006 might have crisper graphics, but the players in 2K6 are much more lifelike.

Also, lucky me. My father was able to find a 360 off of Ebay, only payed 80 bucks over retail($500, 360 is practically $420 if you include tax). Plus, the DVD remote came free.

i understand and am very grateful for that but there is more stuff that happened throughout the year where i helped my parents through some tuff times im not gonna go into that

I got 2 great intangible gifts and one of those metal coffee containers with a lid.

The first intangible gift was a Redskins victory , pulling them 1 game closer to the playoffs.


The second intangible gift was my first trip to the Comcast Center Friday , where Maryland just kicked American University's butt. I actually got to spend 10 minutes of the 2nd half courtside so that was a great experience.

It was a great christmas , and I hope you all had the same too!

I got an iPod video, some new cricket gear, some money and some DVDs (The Mask box set with the sequal and Bat Thumb )

Lame christmas this year. I got a razor, mouse, mousepad, computer monitor and a lot of preppy clothes

Also got $130 total from the rest of my family. I can maybe return the clothes I got for something better. It sucks when your parents try to surprise with clothes you hate. I can't stand pants that aren't baggy and I got 3 pairs of tight fitting jeans and striped polo shirts <puke>

I got $90. That's about it, but I never really gave anyone anything anyway, so I wouldn't be suprised if I didn't get anything.

I got a few wrestling DVD's and some other little stuff, but the focal point was an IOU for an Xbox 360 and some money for games. My parents were actually willing to pay extra to get a 360 off of eBay, and what do you know, Paypal notified us that they're expected for fraud. Woohoo.

How do you like NBA 2K6? I'm trying to weigh my purchases heavily because of how expensive they are.

NBA 2K6 is well worth it for Xbox , so I am imagining its even worth it for 360 . Honestly , I would pay 60$ for it . That game is great.

I really like it. The player models are legit next generation. The jerseys and shorts sway in motion with the players. The cut scenes and replays are ridiculous. If you have an HDTV, I really recommend getting the game.

I didn't get anything. Then again no one killed anyone on Christmas day so I suppose that's as good as it'll get.

Update: I finished with $240 and a box of chocolates that I'll never eat. That pretty much evens the total that I got for my parents. I'm such a good son.

i'm still stuck on $150 but that's cool cos i don't need anything, but i figure i'll buy a bunch of CD's here or there.

I had the best Christmas Ive ever had!
Usually I get around $100 AUD, some clothes and some lollies/chocolates.

But this year I pawned my other Christmas'.
I got:
-A psp.
-2 games. Need For Speed Most Wanted and Live 06.
-$80.
-Jean shorts, 2 t-shirts and a pair of pants.
-A shaving kit.

Im so happy right now! I also had enough cash to get a 1g mem card for the PSP, and a GTA Lib City Stories.

I'd say all together well under 60€, but I don't mind, I already have all that I need.

My fault, I missed what you said up top to Riot. Anyway, I'm problably going to get 2K6 along with Perfect Dark Zero, because I'm not a huge FPS fan. I have an HDTV, but I usually have my game system hooked up to a more convieniently placed TV that's just standard. We'll see what happens. Right now I'm looking at buying Perfect Dark Zero, 2K6, and Halo 2 from the original Xbox because I've never played it (I know, what a game I've been missing out on).
