I watched He Got Game last night again and I just realized it's actually a REALLY good movie.. teaches you a lot about life and how fake people can really be.. interesting movie none the less.. watch it if you can :)

I don't get one thing in that movie (He Got Game) why does Denzel throw the ball over the prison fence and lands in the court where Allen is playing.

Tue Oct 04, 2005 8:26 am

I watched He Got Game, and actually is my favourite movie...It teaches you how is the life in the poor NY neighborhoods and what are the only ways to get out of there. Also it explains you that even if you're a great basketball player, you will not go anywhere without studying.

I have alot of fav movies. I like alot of those asian movies. My fav basketball movies are Love & Basketball, Rebound, Above the Rim and The 6th Man. I got alot of fav bball but those are my tops.

He Got Game, Coach Carter, Love & Basketball are the only basketball movies I've seen. I think they all are good movies.
I would like to see Above The Rim, A Season On The Brink and Hoosiers, but since these movies haven't been released in Italy I can't.
Can anyone that saw these movies at least say me if they're good or not?
Btw, is 2Pac starring in Above The Rim?

That's exactly how I felt. It was my favorite movie at the time, but after seeing a shitload of movies after that and being disappointed with the other two, it just kind of fell down my list.

Tue Oct 04, 2005 11:08 pm

I knew you'd eventually fix it, that's why I quoted it. I've made cracks at people just to come back & see it's been fixed. Hah, not this time, nah-ah!

I'd like to say Edward Norton, but it's probably Al Pacino. Am I right?

Tue Oct 04, 2005 11:23 pm

Hehe, yes Cy, it's Pacino. He had a Scarface sig a while back. A real while back. Probably whilst you were still floating around in Live 2005 section.

You gotta admit, that's really funny.

Tue Oct 04, 2005 11:26 pm

 I was only floating around there since January of 2005 :P

Come to think of it, I actually do remember seeing a Scarface sig, but now I know it belonged to Mazz. Ren & Stimpy (or whatever that sig is) just doesn't cut it anymore :shake:

Tue Oct 04, 2005 11:31 pm

It's Rocko's Modern Life :? (the sig)
