Well shit, I looked up hotels in NYC and they're fucking expensive! I just dont feel like dishing out 200 a night just for a place to sleep.. got a sweet deal on the airfare so thats cool.. but just need to find out about a place to stay. Heard that hostels are ok.. but the idea of sleeping in a room with a bunch of strangers doesnt seem right.. I dont want any of my shit stolen.. any ideas?

Nah don't worry about me killing you guys by shooting things from my belly button , I guess you can stay here but my mom will be wondering why I'm bring 2 twenty year old guys into my house . oo well , what can she do .ooohh and btw , theres cheaper hotels i n NJ , look for motel's/Hotel's in the Hudson County and you might fight something cheap enough for you and Cy to stay . Right across the river from NYC , so you guys don't need to worry , you can take a bus there whenever yoou want to go . Hopefully this helps .

hey Legend, you should stay in a hostel....and you can find hostels/places with your own rooms (twin or quad share)....I know my sister had a twin share one with her bf booked in NY over Xmas and New Years for like $30 or so a night each I think....

am at work at the mo, but will post a couple of links of places my sister found....

screw it, I can't find them....but yeah, either way there are hostels around where you can get rooms....probably $30-$40 US per night each will be more than sufficient I'd say to get a two singles in a bedroom....you just need to search around....

otherwise you can stay at Doobies and Legend can have a crack at someone's mum

It may be next year, but its only 7 months away. You need to plan ahead for trips, you can't just decide to make one 2 weeks in advance. Especially when you need to arrange for plane and hotel.
