I haven't listened to a ton from either band (more AFI then Benjamin), but I like The Boy Who Destroyed the World, Sacrifice Theory and Girl's not Grey best from the 2 CD's I've heard. Breaking Benjamin I really like So Cold, Blow Me Away and Polyamorous from about 5 songs I've heard from them.

Jae - I think you will like the Australian band Clann Zú. Brilliant group (this just from what I gather that you like around here, might be way off).

They might be hard to find, but well worth looking for. Good stores, and good "stores" is recommended.

They have alot of their songs available to download from the official website

I'll check them out, if I like them I know a store where I can probably get their albums.

Yeah, I saw that now after I looked for some lyrics. Their writing is on par on the wonderful ambiance and creativity in their music. Black Coats and Bandages is my favorite thingie right now.
EDIT: Scratch that, Words for Snow fucking rocks.

Habba!!! I didn't like some of the songs, I've never liked gutural voices and the like.
Anyways, I've listened to Harvest 7 times a day since, I'm obsessed with that song. It's amazing

Opeth's thing is the incredible mix of really old-school growling reminiscent of the Death-days of forlorne thrown together with a more progressive stance with soothing guitars and great "clean" singing. Åkerfeldt (vocalist ((yes, both growl and clean)), lyricist and lead guitarist) might be the most talented musician out of Sweden ever.
Face of Melinda should go well with you if yu like Harvest.
