Hmmm, nice thread...

Let's see.

-Happy marriage with beatiful wife
-Twins coming up
-One of three candidates for senior firm partner, and I'm only 25... If I lobby myself properly I'll be making enough money to support a 10 member family.
- Only lost one case, my first ever one assigned. Gone 17-0 since. Ranging from divorces to gang shootings. No Matlock-like cases yet.
- Gained 2cm in bicep measurement. Just noticed today
- Run 10km yesterday without fainting... ]
- Picked the twins' names this morning: Alexander and Kleopatra. I love history. 8-)
- Ordered the Porsche last week. Will be arriving sometime in October/November. If I get the promotion, I'll be able to afford an SUV as well to accomodate the family as well. :D
- Got an e-degree in Philosophy last month... Plato and Socrates, here I come...
- Started dancing lessons... no ballet, just some plain old Latin.
- Got my brown belt in Kick-Boxing last Tuesday. If only I could strengthen my legs up a bit...
- My father started his third company... in sportswear... so free bball shoes for yours trully. Seriously, I wonder how he can keep up with having a hands-on approach to all his business endeavours...
- I got word from Stanford University that my thesis was accepted, and there is an opening for an MBA - Ph.D 2 year program for me starting September 2006. Interesting, and a great opportunity, but family might keep me in Greece. Good thing is my salary would be still running if I decide to go to the US. Plus I'd be VERY close to the Bay Area... Intriguing
- I got a bloody fine bronze tan with only two beach outings
- I finally got my abs chiseled enough... hardest part of the training
- Bought a new PC last month... Running smoothly
- Wife just appeared, with dyed near-platinum blonde hair!!! GEZUS!!!

Anyway, from the top of my head, that's it for me for the past month or so. I sincerely hope I keep on being in the 'bliss zone' for as long as possible... :D

I know... sometimes I feel undeserving... and deep down I know that I'll be heavily tested sometime in the future... but considering all the crap I went through up until my 16th birthday, maybe it's all even in the end... :?:

Good to see that I wasn't the only one

I'm not the epitome of grace yet, but I try... haven't applied 210 lbs pressure on some unfortuante dame's toes... YET...

man you are bless....for a guy that doesnt beleive in a blesser

I believe in self-motivation... that's my own personal Jesus. That and emotion control, where applicable. :D

damn Weaver, things seem to be going pretty nicely for you (Y)

congrats on all the accolades, especially academically....I think you should do the Stanford thing since you luv the place and all....if it's best for your family, that is....MBA eh? Yeah, I could do one of those but I dunno, I've got other fish to fry and I don't think it is necessary or will help me that much at this stage....other study options will probably start in the new year....

EDIT: hmm....what's good with me?!? today's my nephew's birthday (he's 5)....he's having a party on Saturday and he's dressing up as Anakin or Obi Wan (he luvs Star Wars)....I don't think I could pull off going as Mace Windu but we'll see what I can do

EDIT #2: I used my business contacts to get a plumber at a good price to fixed the broken water pipes :D I also haven't had any reply from the neighbour's landlord after they tried to charge us about $800 for a fence they erected without consulting us....I checked the legislation and found the appropriate section to ensure that I can not lose this battle :D

Yes, indeed... If I can get the wife and kids to move with me to the States, I'm all for it it... Plus I'll be a Warriors season ticket holder. 8-)

An MBA at least gives you a salary bonus, especially if you decide to ply your trade in the US... But the Ph.D is more appealing to me... I'll be a 'doctor', just like my mother always wanted me to be... albeit not an MD...

yah....I got my Masters (not MBA though) at the mo, so next up would be a doctorate if I wanted to....Doctor Watson....has a certain ring to it, doesn't it?

season ticket holder, eh? yep, you can fly me over and pick up in that Porsche

as for plying my trade in the US, doubt it....I like Australia too much and don't think US is any better....who knows, my trip in December could change my mind but I doubt it....

Wow, then all you'll be needing is your own personal Sherlock Holmes, along with a job in crime prevention or mystery solution... Start smikong pipes, too.

Aye, it's a lock. Although the porsche is WAY cheaper if I buy it in the USA. But now it's already ordered... We could watch a Warriors-Bobcats game... We'd probably be the only ones in attendance...

Bah, I think the word Dik-Dik is funny. You'd get the joke if you've ever watched X-Play on G4TV.

EDIT: It's also the name of an Animal that looks like a Deer.

EDIT 2: I'm also 14 and my Sophmore Year of High School starts on August 25th.

EDIT 3: Had to put 2 by Edit 2, so it wouldn't say "Edit".

Woohoo, I just got a 400 Euro surround system from my brother in law who is about to buy himself another one. I also got his 15 inch flat screen.

I'm happy. :proud:

Hehe, there's one good part of going back to school: LOTS OF CLOTHES. I got like 7 shirts, 5 shorts, a few pairs of jeans, and 4, yeah, 4 pairs of shoes. I had no idea we could afford that

yep, I've heard many girls say that one of the first thing a girl looks at is a guy's shoes (and crotch) as it supposedly tells them what kind of personality the guy has....hmm....all my shoes are completely different....I got work shoes, I got professional shoes, I got skatey shoes, I got running shoes, I got basketball shoes and I have roman sandles....
