As I've already said, search engine spiders will show up when they're indexing the forum pages. As long as they're not crashing the forum by taking up all the sessions (they shouldn't with the fix James C has installed), there shouldn't be any need to worry.

Not really. It's just a by-product of the spider indexing the forum's pages.
