I think he meant he can't distinguish what country the Asian people are from. I mean I can't tell if a white guy is from Canada, Britain, Australia, or the US without talking to the,. I can't tell someone from Finland from someone from Poland. Same thing with Asian people. And I'm sure I couldn't tell that you were from Chile if I looked at you.

i can distinguish a few types of asian..
e.g, Korean(their clothing n face. :lol:

)
japan.. (by feeling..)
chinese from china..(by lookin at their eyes+ judge by feelin)
taiwanese(they look abit unique.. in the way they dress)
hong kong cantonese(by their accent..)
malaysian+ singaporean(by their accent + looks)
indonesian,phillipines, thailand, laos etc..(it's bit hard to distinguish them by looks.. but have to hear them speakin..)
