Lol wtf

what? lol, i thought thats what experience meant. they had leagues for 3 yr olds in memphis a while back. then i played in a 5 year-old league when i was 4.

lol.. how high was the rim in thet league? can 3 yr olds even heave the ball to the height of a jordan jammer? must have been a lot of work for the refs!

 i think they were like 4-5 feet tall or so. it wasnt that high to where we couldnt throw it at the goal. the league was basically to give kids excercise and try to learn the game of basketball. it was alot of traveling going on back then too

I don't know from where you got this, but it ain't true. He started to practice for a dunk two years before his first Dunk Contest.

he may not have been 14 but he was 4-11
SLAM: You were dunking then, right?

WEBB: Yes. In high school we would all go up to the gym, all the guys around Dallas, and once we finished playing all the guys started dunking. And I guess it just came naturally as a gift. You'd just try and try -- I didn't start dunking until the summer before my senior year in high school. I probably wasn't no more than 4-11.

Nice idea.. very intersesting..

Name: J-Smoove
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 150lbs
Age: 15
Location: Huntington Beach, CA, USA

Preferred Position: SF/PF
Playing Position: PG
Experience: 6 years(played since 8)
Favourite NBA Player: Eddie Jones
Realistic NBA Comparison (And Why): Smush Parker, I get lots of TOs but I get as many flashy passes.

Strengths: Driving/Slahsing, passing, strength, MAD HOPS (well, 30 inch vert)
Weaknesses: Height, poor shooter, confidence, poor IQ

Favourite move you can do: fastbreakin' dishes

Favourite move you've done once: Crazy drive from right side, saw a big man in the way, ended up on the opposite block while twirling a "clockwise" layup.

Favourite place to shoot: Volleyball marks/Corner 3s

Biggest shot you've made: Threw up a half-court shot bank at the buzzer.

Best game you've played:
a)At age 12, I was a dominating defensive player with quickness no PF could handle. Guarded the pointguards and because of my strength and athleticism stole the ball and broke away every time. I had 20 that game.

b)Best game with good competition: 18 points, 15 boards, 7 dimes.

c)The highschool game where had my best move eva. 17 points. The previous game was the game I went off the "IL". Didn't play a single minute. The next game, I stepped it up. 7-7 from line (best in the year for team, until my friend got 17-19) and dived on the ball for every loose ball. I got 3 steals and 3 dimes.

Most satisfying moment: Winning MVP for season.

Most shameful moment: Let a 5'4" midget throw the ball up from 3 in my EYE! It hit the backboard and in. Ball game. I was subbed in the previous 5 seconds for def. purposes. Stupid zone penetration and I was on the wrong end.

Most regretted moment: Not jumping at that lil midget.

Most painful moment: Giving up hope for bball season when I was told to adjust to play PG at high school when I had surgery. I couldn't play ball the entire summer. Had no chance to come back and harness/gain my PG skills.

Basketball Goals for the future: Develop my jumpshot and confidence. Bring back the self-esteem I had when i got MVP.

Realistic NBA Comparison (And Why): Bob Sura, hustle player but not the greatest shooter

Strengths: Driving/Slahsing, passing
Weaknesses: bad jumping ability, strength

Favourite move you can do: fadeaway jumper

Favourite move you've done once: fingerroll layup between three defenders

Favourite place to shoot: baseline

Biggest shot you've made: a three to win the game (my first all year)

Best game you've played:
21 points 9 rebounds and hit the game winning three

Most satisfying moment: Winning the league championship

Most shameful moment: My team was holding for the last shot of the game with the game tied and i turned it over and they hit a jumper to win the game.

Most regretted moment: see above

Most painful moment: breaking my ankle when i landed on another players foot

Basketball Goals for the future: work on my 3 point shooting and jumping

Name: Jing
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 170 lbs.
Age: 17
Location: MA

Preferred Position: SF
Playing Position: SF/PF Experience: 9 Years (dunno why, i'm point guard height, but he puts me there anyways, i guess its cause i don't have too good handling, but i can bust my ass and take on the other team's best... and my past teams have been filled with guards... :x)
Favourite NBA Player: Yao Ming
Realistic NBA Comparison (And Why): Lol, lets see, who is this short? i'd say a good comparision would be like tony parker. i really like to play defense, love to pass, have an alright midrange game, and foreign.

Strengths: Defense, rebounding... er.... midrange shooting.
Weaknesses: Not nearly tall enough, not strong enough... handling. shooting from the corners.

Favourite move you can do: the up and under layup. kinda like the up and under dunk in live, but its a layup.

Favourite move you've done once: Running full speed down the court, and on the right side of the basket, goes up for a shot, but one of the other team's big men runs into me, and knocks me behind the hoop, i still chuck it up and it goes it, kinda like anthony carters "show hurled around the backboard" againest the knicks a couple years back.

Favourite place to shoot: right behind the 3 point line, perfectly lined up with the hoop, that way i can see where my shot is going and how i'm gonna shot it. i shoot my best like that.

Biggest shot you've made: about 3 years ago, we were down by 3, i went though a pick, got the ball right behind the 3 point line, and swish. tied the game in clutch seconds... alas we lost after i missed another potential three. in and out damn it.

Best game you've played: Been a while, best game was i had 2 points and 35 rebounds, but my teammates were getting angry at me because i refused to shoot, just got the board and gave it up even though i was right under the hoop.

Most satisfying moment: Blocking a shot into the stands right under the hoop. the guy went past me, and he's a lefty, so he put it up with his left hand, which was closer to me, and i just went swat, and everyone was like oh shit!

Most shameful moment: Getting into a arugment with the ref and getting ejected 2 minutes into the game... :x

Most regretted moment: everyday not getting any better

Most painful moment: In a basketball game? never really got injured, but did get hit pretty hard in the groin and thighs and stuff many times. oh yeah, and cracking the bone in my right hand... had to do everything left handed for 3 month.

Basketball Goals for the future: Maybe play ball in china for the CBA. I really want to get taller and increase my jumping first, cause i have the shot, but not the jumping or the height. also i need to get more fit and stronger. Probably will play club in college and play CBL or CBA in china.

Preferred Position: SF
Playing Position: SF
Experience: 9 years
Favourite NBA Player: Matt Bonner
Realistic NBA Comparison (And Why): Doug Christie, if it wasn't for my D I wouldn't be playing

Strengths: Stealing, Blocking, Rebounding, shutting my man down, Mid-Range set-up shots
Weaknesses: Driving, have trouble creating my own shot

Favourite move you can do: Slip & Slide (only have used it in practice, is it illegal in a real game?), Dunk (nothing fancy but i can do it)

Favourite move you've done once: Off the backboard alleyopp to myself, didn't dunk it but made for a nice lay up.

Favourite place to shoot: Both baselines 2 feet inside the 3pt line

Biggest shot you've made: Fouled at the buzzer on a 3pt attempt with our team down by 1. Missed the first two made the last, but we lost in overtime

Best game you've played: My only triple double: scored 15 points missing only 1 shot, grabed 11 boards and had 10 steals.

Most satisfying moment: Dunking for the first time in a game

Most shameful moment: Made a careless pass at the end of a game, costing up the win

Most regretted moment: Swithing to a different sport in the winter my freshman year, playing bball my sophmore year, and then switching again this year (junior year)

Most painful moment: Breaking my arm and getting hit in the nuts while taking a charge

Basketball Goals for the future: Comeback senior year and start for varsity.

Realistic NBA Comparison: Tony Parker

Strengths: Rebounding, Defence, passing, quickness and shooting.

Favourite move you've done once: A block over a taller guy than me. I jumped after he was going to shoot.
A 3 pointer with the help of the glass. :P

Favourite place to shoot: Right side of the court. Mid Range. I also like in the paint...

Biggest shot you've made:
I was playing a 21. My opponents were leading by around 10 points. I shot and it went in. I made about 7 shots in a row. I lost at the end but it was nice...

Best game you've played: I blocked a taller guy than me and I grabbed a beautiful rebound over him, I won at the end, it was a 2on2.

Most satisfying moment: MIP in 2nd year of organised ball. Getting 3 steals on consecutive opposition possessions when team needed a stop.

Most shameful moment:
I don't know...

Most regretted moment: Doing a no-look pass and missed it...

Most painful moment: read above

Slip & Slide (only have used it in practice, is it illegal in a real game?)

I believe that it's a travel and, if you do it the way I do, a carry.

Jesus, you're all midgets! Maybe its a Russian thing, lol.

Name: Vin Mikhal Sihvopoloski
Height: 6'8"
Weight: 251 lbs
Age: 22
Location: Orlando, FL

Position: C/F
Experience: 10 years (YMCA ball, High-school, College ball)
Favorite NBA Player: Kevin Garnett
Realistic NBA Comparison: Rasheed Wallace. Good mid-range shooter, aggresive shot-blocker, and I've gotten my share of ejections from the game, because of my temper.

Strengths: Shot Blocking, Aggression on both ends of the floor.
Weaknesses: Bad Temper, couldn't juke a parked bus.

Favorite Move: Block from behind, then trash-talking.

1-time-move: Rejected this little guy (around 5'10") really hard, and it came down on his nose, breaking it. Felt a little guilty, but, as sick as it sounds, I tried not to laugh.

Favorite Shot: 15-footers

Best shot: Hit a buzzer-beater from half-court, but we were down by 12, so it meant nothing. :?

Best Game: One of my two triple-doubles. Points, rebounds, and blocks.

Most satisfying moment: A really cocky short kid went for a long dunk, and I set up to get an offensive foul, but he bounced off me. I had atleast a foot and 100 pounds over this guy.

Most Shameful Moment: Getting thrown out of 6 consecutive games, all in the first half.

Most Regretted Moment: Going over to double team, to get a block, when my man gets the ball and sinks a three.

Most Painful Moment: Dunking, and landing on the floor back-of-the-neck first, getting a broken collar bone, seperated right-shoulder, and a cracked rib, from landing on my neck, then my arm, then my side came down on my arm. Hard.

Basketball Goals: None. I've had too many injuries to ever bee 100% again. Right now I'm nursing a leg broken in 3 places. Its alcohol-related.
