In college, it doesn't work that way.
Well, first of all, your senior year will be the hardest because that's when you will be taking all senior level classes. I'm taking those this year and it's really challanging.

However, it all depends on what classes you take. It's not like high school where they select classes for you. In college, you select your classes yourself .... and that's what will determine how difficult your semester will be. Usually, people try to even it out by taking half major classes and half GE's. But it's all up to you.

just to follow up

it's week 8, ive been procrastinating for 8 weeks. Due this Thurs is a Law assignment as well as a presentation. Neither of which i have started :( Next week I have 2 20% tests for which I'm royally screwed, the following week is a 1 week break, after which i have 2 assignments due and a 20% test w/in 2 weeks. 2 more weeks and then exams, after that its 3 months of beach, sun and titty :D cant wait for summer....right now im crappin my pants on how to start the assignment.....i got 36hrs to do it in and i'm clueless....oh well, i did this 3 times last semester and got kick ass grades. This assignment though is the toughest one ive faced

time to bullshit and hand something up.

Wed Sep 15, 2004 12:43 am

LOL!

So everything's progressing normally then Matt? Good to see. The one that's due in 36 hours... that's a long time, you really don't need start that yet.

I've had a fairly slow semester. Did a couple of presentations in front of the class and a couple of short assigments. I have 2 essays left, 3 sets of journals, and a networking folder which I can hand in for 2 different classes. It's all spaced nice and evenly so I don't have to panic until the day before each piece of work is due! :P

Yay for school.

i did all my research i just cant be bothered reading it and putting it on paper. It's so annoying, i don't know how to start and the referencing is annoying. I just wanna make it all up. this blows ass

aside from the workload, i kinda like college mainly because one of my professors is HOT HOT HOT

she's 27 or 28, with the body of an 18 year old, she's in really good shape.. nice rack, nice ass and she doesn't dress like a grandma.. she dresses like an 18 year old.. wears shirts that show skin, skirts, tight pants.. she's a goddess.. makes waking up at 8 am not bad at all :)

i'm in love

Wed Sep 15, 2004 11:36 am

I'm a US guy...I go to Iowa State University in Ames, IA. Home of Fred Hoiberg, where Jamaal Tinsley, Jeff Hornacek, Calvin Cato, and Marcus Fizer went to school. Home of the Veisha Riots....(do a google search on that, good stuff...)

Anyway, I'm in my third year here at ISU, and I'm a senior. Actually, right now, I should be writing a paper about a lame British poem...but I'll get to it.

I'm English Education with minors in coaching and psychology. I'm almost done, and I take 15-18 credits a semester, and I'm a manager at a local fast food place (no, not mcdonald's...shit, I have standards...), so I'm putting in around 40 hours there. What I recommend to you new students is GO TO CLASS. Go to class, you'll get C's. Go to class and pay attention most of the time, you'll get B's. That's just how it works...

As for the sites and sounds, well, we have a very large male population due to the agriculture and engineering emphasis this uni has. However, I'm in the right major. On average, I'm in a class with about 30-40 girls to maybe 6 guys. I'm studying with 6 girls on Sunday night, 1 of which is hot (but married), another who's good looking, and the others are ok looking. Not that I care, cause I have a hot girlfriend, but yeah, just gloating to all you frosh...

Oh, and if you party, don't be a dumbass. Choose your party friends carefully...pick someone that can drink more than you and isn't a moron...they'll take care of you and teach you not to be a little retard.

Wed Sep 15, 2004 5:57 pm

ahaha. funny stuff. Now back to my Law assignment....1800 words to go woohoo, 20hrs to do it in

Wed Sep 15, 2004 7:29 pm

1200 words to go....not bad, seems to be flowing ok, 23 references to go

Thu Sep 16, 2004 1:34 am

YEAH BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!! 11:30pm and i finished my assignment the night before it's due  i live to study another day

gotta start studying 2morrow, which is better than doing shitty assignments. It took me since 3pm today to get it done but it would have taken half the time if it wasnt for referencing.

Man, my asssignment is the biggest piece of shit, which im happy to hand up. I blurted verbal diaorrhea onto the page but im relieved to get it done. Ive already started all other assignments so i wont be this stressed again till next year :)

sleep, my precioussssssss

College: Sheridan (Oakville)
Program: Art Fundamentals (1 year diploma leading into Animation)
Pros:
1. We have an open bar, all day, every day. And they don't check ID's.
2. Classes are shit easy. 6 per semester, most of which end almost an hour early.
3. Teachers are really nice. Not physically, but the students make up for it.
4. Little or no homework for almost all classes. (Usually about four to five hours per week.
5. I get free parking, everyone else pays $8.50 a day.
6. In my first two weeks, I've won over 200 bucks playing pool.
7. Just had a concert the other night with Finger Eleven and Billy Talent.

Cons:
1. No football.
2. Basketball team sucks ass.
3. half hour drive both ways for one class somedays.
4. 2400 applicants for 120 spots in animation.
5. No football.

lol, I win, Matt...I went to bed instead of working on the paper...got up about 8:00, showered, started writing it around 8:30, and then I finished it around 9:30, turned it in at 12:30. :)

Jowe can vouch for me, kind of. ;)

Wow, can't believe it's the end of Day 2 here at UC Irvine (University of California)...
Noticed that for a lot of kids, they come in with so many expectations that they're gonna go party a lot or drink or make a whole lotta friends and when that happens, they just get disappointed.
But everyone's friendly and nice because they're mostly all on the same boat: they know absolutely no one here.
Maybe I'll add more later

Tue Sep 21, 2004 3:49 pm

It's a conspiracy I tell ya! they have pubs or bars in uni's so that the dumb ones get pissed all the time and fail all their courses, so they stay longer for the uni to scam more money off them

Wed Sep 22, 2004 4:43 pm

lol i never actually thought about that, good point tho way to keep yor head up :P
