ESPN's done it 4 a while, I wonder if Live 2005 will allow for multiple hairstyles/headshapes?

Now, that we know what Live 2005 looks like, ESPN is putting up a fight with those quite cool graphics, with the great faces, switchable hair-do`s,
they could quite get close to the Live series.

But.....

ESPN has to get close to freestyle in Live, with their Isomotion... the moves just look awful. The two-handed dunk by TD in the video, (who has watched it, they`ll know) looked like the basket was 7`7 high and it was so easy, that you just hop in to the air and BOOM...

And .... if you look closer the three point shots ,i think the ESPN games have to do better than this.

their hands look like they've been saran wrapped. :?

Don't want to seem like an EA fanboy there, other than that they look great. Jowe's textures have really helped the jerseys. :D

The graphics in NBA 2k4 look great in-game so 2k5 will too. As for gameplay, I bought Live and ESPN last year and I liked ESPN's gameplay way better. Live you could only cross over from side to side and run in and dunk, ESPN was more realistic and more fun IMO.

Can't judge the new games till I get 'em though, both are looking good but Live has the upperhand till ESPN releases info. :D

Bullsh!t obviously you don't use the freestyle or know how to use it. Also you can go dunking on everyone or they will be collisions.

In Live there's like only a couple crossover moves, you can go side to side, you can go fowards and you can bring the ball back. That's about it, the IsoMotion has way more crossover moves, and yeah there's in-air collisions but that doesn't change the fact that you can just run in at anytime.

I can think of 10 right now and I haven't played Live for 2 months (it doesn't work on my comp anymore.) Plus more if you count the crossovers again if they start with the left hand.

Who gives a shit? Really. It's ridiculous how you guys are just looking for something that's wrong with these screenshots. You won't even notice the hands when you're playing. Just give it a rest and admit that graphically, ESPN has been superior to Live over the years and possibly this year.

Looks good, not great... some of the stills look a bit queer, which can be deceiving but either way. I'm not sure Live 2005's will be any better, but I still probably wont bother with ESPN because the gameplay has been known to make me want to attack people in the past.

I mean when you're running down the court and to shake off a defender you press the analog stick. When you do that you get 10 different crossover moves?

No, you press the analog in one way and you get one move, press it a couple ways in a row and you can string together moves. Like push it to the right then back to the left and you do a half cross with your right then cross back over to your left. With Freestyle you actually have control.

you can cross from left to right, behind back, between legs, spin move. Also they got the AO move where you crossover, do an upfake, crossback and drive

If its in your right and you press it right you do a sttuerstep fake, from that you can press a certain direction and either bring it between your legs, behind your back or in from of you.

Not to mention all of that stuff from the left hand.

Obviously you haven't a damn clue how to use freestyle.

With ISOmotion you press analog in a direction and next thing you know its a charge. The only way to counter a charge is to press backwards so they step back, but thats lame because if you don't do that they'll charge

I just don't like the graphics.

Don't know why, I just don't

Here's a new movie.

It looks like the post games been improved, by the fact that now it actually exists. The dunks look much better than last years. Overall, it loks like ESPN's heading back in the right direction.

Also, for those dweebs complaining about Tayshaun Prince's 90s hairdo, it's been fixed as you can tell in the screen with Big Ben and Brad Miller.

Hey is the Pistons jersey Ben got on in the fourth shot real, a throwback, or fantasy?

It looks like the old Sixers jersey they had when Iverson was rook but it just say Pistons?
