Why could he not just hop from the barricade to the ring?

Saw a thread on a wrestling forum about Kevin Nash having black hair, which someone said could be seen as a spoiler...then a TNA thread with Royal Rumble spoilers...not exactly a shock to see Nash.

Also, why is the Raw GM in charge of Smackdown in Long's absence? Haven't we already established that Vickie is second in command there?

you gotta turn you brain activity down a couple of notches while watching wwe these days..
you'd also think that vickie would take a look at the replay and see that edge used the spear and strip edgd of the title .. she's done it before

Great Royal Rumble, I like it. Good moments like Morrison, Booker T and Hornswoogle. Hate that Super Cena sequence. Nice to have a new face to win it all.

Michael Cole referring to the Masterlock as the "Masterpiece" :shake:

Is it just me, or did Punk trip over himself and fall flat on his ass after Kozlov was eliminated?

Found a couple of videos of Nash and Booker T making their cameos. They'll probably be taken down soon, so enjoy them while you can:

I have mixed feelings about Del Rio winning. It's not that he hasn't got the talent or the mike skills but I'm not that big a fan of him or his character just yet and it feels like they've missed a few steps with him here. I would've continued with Barrett's push and given him the win if they wanted to use the Rumble to continue to elevate/establish an up and coming name, but maybe it'll work out alright.

The pop for Nash and Booker (especially Booker) is amazing. Sad that he'd stay for less than five minutes though. I hope their appearance isn't the last in a long while.

Del Rio winning is surprising -- yes, but I guess it's too early.

I get the feeling the reaction to Booker/Diesel wasn't because they are hugely popular but more that people have missed having guys from other organizations come across and return/debut. It used to happen a fair bit back when ECW/WCW was around but once they left the only guys you really ever get crossing over are from TNA if anywhere. Christian got a pretty huge pop as well.

In my opinion they got such a huge pop because that's the kinda stuff older fans are gonna cheer about. They're not gonna pop for Hornswoggle FU'ing Tyson Kidd, but returning wrestlers they know from the childhood/adolescence, fuck yeah.

I reckon it's a bit of both, a nostalgic pop combined with excitement that a couple of names most recently associated with TNA were making a WWE return (if only for a night, but I guess we'll see about that).

2nd TNA "They" angle revealed

During the match, a ref is bumped and Immortal hits the ring and starts beating down Anderson, but then The Fortune members stop and attack Hardy and the rest of Immortal. So, "They" are AJ Styles, Kazarian and Beer Money. Matt Hardy, Rob Terry, Jeff Hardy, Gunner and Murphy look on in shock. Styles starts cutting a promo but Bischoff comes out and calls AJ an ungrateful son of a b**ch. Styles says that Bischoff ran another company into the ground but they aren't letting Bischoff do it to TNA. There's a mention that a ruling will be made in March over the power struggle between Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter as well. So, it's Fortune vs. Immortal.

.....Meh, at least I get a face AJ again
Opinions are my own.

Why does R-Truth always on a main event match? He is always on a 6-man something main event for some reason, then get eliminated early on. Then there is John Cena, I think he is also on the Chamber last year?

Del Rio should have come to RAW to challenge the Miz but meh. Like Andrew I am not sold on his character and his skills just yet.

oh crap, that was the most entertaining wwe show in a LONG time. i went nuts when booker came out. nash was nice but i was excited more for booker since nash has proven that he obviously (and sadly) has very little left in the tank in TNA but Booker i haven't seen him in a long time. so that was nice. i completely avoided this thread before watching it and i completely forgot about the rumors of them showing up so i was genuinely surprised lol

I love ADR's character (his own ring announcer... that is bad ass. drove a car to the rumble. they should've used it in the match), and personally that kind of character doesn't need incredibly good mic skills. he will get heat simply because he looks different (i.e. not white) and speaks spanish. i did miss christian's appearance in the ppv. when he he show up?

oh and apparently TNA's shitty "they" storyline was ruined with Nash & Booker showing up in WWE (which i agree with Jae was very much like the WCW days with guys showing up on the rival promotions) even a monkey could write better storylines than the TNA guys.

Wrestlemania looks very much like this now:

Cena - Miz for the WWE Title
ADR - Edge for the Heavyweigt Title
CM Punk - Orton
Wade Barrett - Taker (no indication of that yet though)

What? He wasn't there. Edge used the Unprettier (which was actually called the Unprettier for the first time since 2006), but that's as close as it got.

Probably because they don't have a contract yet?

Kevin Nash stated he was signing a Legends contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and had a meeting scheduled this Wednesday with company officials to determine how they were going forward with their relationship.

I noticed when Booker came out they called him a "tag team specialist". Considering he's a former singles champion as well I'd imagine if he's doing anything it'll be tag team related.
