I can't stand President Bush, even though I am fiscally neutral and socially liberal (took one of those political finder tests).

Social policies. Up to this point, very little action has been taken on illegal immigration. Also, I think he should have pushed for stem cell research rather than pull back. Those are two issues that are pretty important to me. I have a grandmother with alzheimers, so I was hoping they would have had a cure by now... and they probably would have.

Illegal immigration is a big concern for me as well, which is one of the few things I'm frustrated with Bush with. But really no political will attack illegal immigrants because they get their minority votes (the hispanics mostly). I don't think we'll ever see a much stricter border control, even though we need one.

As for stem cell research, President Bush didn't want to "spend taxpayers money to destroy life". That's why he stopped the research, supposedly. Him and Congress disagree with a lot of things, including this.
