Fargo was awesome, but I don't know if I'd classify Fargo anywhere close to comedy. It's like calling Reservoir Dogs a comedy

Since we're talking Coen brothers: The Big Lebowski, best comedy ever made. "YOU ARE ENTERING A WORLD OF PAIN!"

Next you'll all say you haven't seen Top Secret! or The Naked Gun either. (Or Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles or Spaceballs or Robin Hood: Men in Tights or Dr. Strangelove or Hot Shots!)

They are showing Transformers on HBO again. So just chilling and watching it again

It was actually on comedy central this morning

...
the failing of the original plot and the naivety of the people involved i think is supposed to be funny
I think I'll go see Burn After Reading this weekend, I'm a big fan of the Coens and never miss any of their flicks.

My favorite movie, seen it maybe 30 times...It just never gets old to see John Turturro licking his bowling ball, or the Dude preparing a White Russian.

el badman you fool, it's not John Turturro.
It's da Hesus.

Easy benji, keep in mind that cyanide is canadien so you might let him pass for his inadequacies, for now.
Robin Hood. One of the best musicals. Ever.

The irony is, out of that list, I did see Robin Hood Men In Tights (and Spaceballs, Naked Gun, and possibly Hot Shots! [or was that Part Deux?]). Benji, you fool, you didn't even add Office Space.
Airplane's on my list. I promise.

Just watched Hellboy 2 and Dont mess with the Zohan.
Hellboy is good if you are a comics fan and this is the first time I have seen the Hellboy films and can't wait for the sequel and want to watch the first film just to know the story. Zohan is random in a way that only idiotic people will only understand. Some of the jokes are funny, some are stupid and some are depressing.
Hoping to watch the Mummy 3 and The Dark Knight this week

Watching The Shining at 3 AM alone in the house was creepy as hell.
Mon Sep 22, 2008 5:32 am
Watched Donnie Darko for the millionth time. I love that movie so much.

What?! How could you not call Fargo a comedy? Its completely a black comedy, that's its intention.

Finally got to see Burn After Reading and glad I did. It certainly does secure the Coens as my favorite directors. It takes some time to really start, but when you understand what's going after a while (or so to speak), you just can't help laughing at anything that Clooney, Malkovich or Pitt will say...Great dark comedy

Watched Serenity (again) and ali g in da house:
For those who saw serenity and maybe thought it wasnt that good please watch the firefly series first...changed the movie for me.
Ali G in Da House i thought would have a level of intelligence but ended up being dick and pussy jokes the entire time. See it if you REALLY like the character.

You mean having all of the story instead of none of it is better? Now you just need to read the comics.
And for anyone who wants to, Firefly is free to watch on Hulu. Serenity is not however.

Was watching Robot Chicken, and it was that episode that had stuff about movies with a huge twist at the end, it had Crying Game, (don't remember name), Sleepaway Camp, and The Village. I was bored and watched the others, so I decided to give it a try.
Pretty much nobody in the movie knew how to act, but that made it funnier, and even though saw the ending in Robot Chicken on what was going to happen, and the ending still was still very creepy and disturbering.
Plan to get Serenity and the Firefly series soon. I think I missed like 3 or 4 episodes of the series. I remember back in the day when firefly commercials came on Fox, damn long time ago.

Burn after Reading - Meh, I expected better... I freaking hate George Clooney. I'll go watch Fargo and the Big Lebowski now.

Saw ' A clockwork Orange' a couple of weeks ago. Great Great movie. I had to watch it twice to completely understand it, but that movie is disturbing belong belief. I enjoyed it though.
I also saw 'saw v' on Friday, I was very very dissapointed. I think the Saw series is repetetive and has me bored. Any of you guys feel this way?

Half the world's population feel that way. The Saw series has sucked since the beginning, even the first one everyone seems to love. It's just your typical, cheesy-as-fuck, horrible-acting, think-it's-good-just-because-it's-slightly-better-than-the-rest modern horror flick.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 12:12 am
What I like in the Saw franchise are the contraptions of torture. Nothing more.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 2:48 am
I checked out Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Damn funny. They didn't really need to show that guys penis that many times, though.
Tropic Thunder wasn't as funny, but Tom Cruise and Robert Downey, Jr. were hilarious.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 3:26 am
It worries me that apatow and company keep finding jokes and sticking to the same idea. I find Paul Rudd hysterical still though especially in Sarah Marshall "When life gives you lemons, say fuck lemons and bail."

Just seen Max Payne, good when you know the game storyline but bad when you dont and suffer from bad plot and less gun fight. Boring film to me
