I'm picking 49ers just because of Gore.

Re: NFL Talk

Sat Feb 02, 2013 1:23 am

I really don't care who wins.Just as long as the numbers 7 and 4 are at the end of the score in each quarter(7-4/17-14/47-24 etc.).7 for ravens and 4 for the 49ers.But I guess I will pick the Ravens just because I really dislike Kaepernick.

colts owner Jim Irsay is holding a contest for predictions [prize money!]. i had sf by 4 with kaepernick as mvp and him scoring the 1st td

In honor of the game and the "greatest receiver of all time"

and one for the other side

Re: NFL Talk

Mon Feb 04, 2013 4:39 pm

wow what a comeback. was hoping kaepernick would pull it out, slowly becoming a fan of his despite my dislike for sf. shouldve been a PI on that last pass, but refs aren't going to call that at the end of the game

wtf jacoby jones where was this the last few years in houston?

everybody should watch alicia keys's star spangled banner. 2nd best performance of all time, with marvin gaye at the LA nba all star game being #1

My thoughts exactly.

It was probably the most entertaining superbowl I have seen in awhile.Even that GoDaddy commercial was hilarious,a bit disturbing but hilarious.

How the hell did jacoby jones not get MVP? Flacco is surrounded by talented fucks who bail him out on shit passes.

Great game, was hoping to see the 49ers pull it out. Why was everyone talking like baltimore's D was still great? They havent been great all season and nothing really changed in the playoffs.

So Ray Lewis murdered the 49ers...wait I mean the people with him, the Ravens, murdered the 49ers.

So looked at the panthers schedule: NFC West and Patriots... i know its early but we're going 9-7 at best. 4-12 at worst. This could be rough.

NFL Kickoff tonight

Broncos vs Ravens.

Can Peyton get vengeance for the 2OT playoff loss?

I know its a little late but im making division and surprisingly good teams in each..I love seeing how wrong i was from year to year.

NFC North
Packers-In Rodgers I trust (same thing I said before lol)
Sleeper-Lions if they can play any sort of D at all, their homerun potential every down is ridiculous. Calvin wont get tackled on the 1 yard line that many times again

NFC East
Giants/Skins-If RG3 stays upright, I think Washington pulls it out. Otherwise I lean towards the giants as they still have eli.
Sleeper: Philly-still talented, not sure why everyone is completely counting them out

NFC South
Falcons-Lets see if Sean Payton was as important as it appeared or if the Saints D will be their downfall
Sleeper-Bucs if Freeman plays like he's capable of

NFC West
49ers-The easiest division in football became the best. Top to bottom this group is insane and as long as Kaep stays healthy and spreads the ball around, they'll be at the very least in the playoffs again.
Sleeper-Rams-Bradfords still a decent qb and their D got better.

AFC North
Baltimore-The defending champs lost to the Broncos the other night, but
Sleeper-Pitt, expecting a bounceback year here.

AFC East
Patriots-As long as brady is still playing, they're going to win this division. (Yes, this still holds true)
Sleeper-None, I think the three other teams will suck ass.

AFC South
Houston-Continuing their winning ways, Foster will be fine
Sleeper-Cant count Indy as a sleeper anymore, the Jags still have blaine gabbert, so by default that would be the Titans.

AFC West
Broncos-7 TD's...7 TDS?
Sleeper-Chiefs...I said the same thing last year I know, but they have a serviceable qb and a succesful coach. Maybe it'll be better this year

SB pick

While I think it will be close, I'm thinking the Broncos can pull it out this year (they probably would have last year if Flacco hadn't suddenly become a god for 4 games). NFC Rep will be whoever comes out of the NFC West because they play both sides of the ball, unlike the south (mainly offense) East (too beat up by the playoffs) and North (No D)

fun first couple of weeks even though my boys are 0-2

I don't understand why the CenturyLink Field (where Seattle plays) doesn't have an arena that closes up. As if it doesn't rain during the fall in Seattle.

Bears win a close one, not too convincing in their wins but I guess winning while trying to sharpen the edges of your new offense is always good for your regular season.

Holy crap Seattle.

Bet my coworker five bucks that the Chiefs would not win their division. Thought he was just being an idiot but... :|

Nike teams up with Hasbro for actual Calvin Johnson Transformer shoes

It's the Calvin Johnson CJ81 Megatron collection of shoes, it's limited, it's incredible and it's a partnership with Hasbro.

Image

First up is the CJ81 Megatron Trainer Max with a freaking Decepitcon logo on the shoelaces

And there's a Decepticon logo on the back as well...

The second shoe in the set is the Megatron Nike Air Trainer SC II

the third shoe is an actual cleat, the Nike CJ81 Megatron Elite TD Cleat

Image

Perhaps the coolest thing about the whole collection? IT COMES WITH AN ACTUAL TRANSFORMER. Inspired by Johnson and the show it's a Hansbro-approved (they collaborated on the whole process)

Image

the box also is a gigantic Transformer as well.

So it looks like my panthers might be relevant again...hope we take down the Saints tonight.

Still need more consistency out of the offense.

A number 1 scoring defense can do that for ya...just gotta learn how to stop big plays

Then on offense, we have to learn to consistently produce so Cam doesn't have to put the team on his back every play. He's been getting lucky lately.

BROWNS GOT ROBBED TODAY. Still disappointed about that, especially after the amount of crap I was talking to my friends in the northeast lol. I'll take the better draft pick though, as long as we're going to be irrelevant and all.
