It's like 4 coaches in one. Maradona, Bilardo, Batista, etc...

Anybody been following the EPL lately? Manchester Utd have a good chance to jump to first place with a win over Bolton, I'm pretty sure the game has already been played but I want to watch the replay tomorrow, so I don't know the score now. This is good news for Utd considering they started the season pretty bad, but in recent years they usually do start the season off pretty bad.

By the way, I havn't been on here in ages and I went to check my posts and I saw that my last post was in this thread acting like a dick for no reason, even though I don't remember it, just wanna apologize to the guy for it.

edit: also congrats to Cristiano Ronaldo for winning every single award possible for a player to win lol.

Ronaldo hasn't been himself lately, crashing cars, getting red cards. Must have something to do with the offer from Real Madrid. :?

He hasn't been in good form this season but he still has managed to score 10 goals coming from surgery. Good to see Tosic getting a few games in now havn't seen the last one against West Brom going to go watch the replay now.

Yeh, saw those video's on youtube before, for a 6 year old to be that technically gifted is unbelieveable.

Anyboy watch CL ? Manchester Utd 0 - 0 Inter, Man Utd could have scored about 5 goals in the first half.

Re: General Football/Soccer Talk

Wed Feb 25, 2009 7:39 pm

yeah, I saw cl. inter looked pretty weak. muntari with his worst performance ever.

Re: General Football/Soccer Talk

very weak in defense, decent efforts in attack at first don't really know bout the second half didn't watch all of it.

Re: General Football/Soccer Talk

second half they were a bit better and had some chances. I don't get why mourinho plays santon over maxwell.
I don't really like the away goal counts twice rule. it makes home teams play defensive.

anyone else think that having 3 english clubs in the semi's of the cpl is just taking the piss of the whole league?
in other words, bring on the 5 + 6 rule already and make it so that's clubs can't buy players unless they're 18.

It shows Premier League is the best league in the world and if the Premier League was only made of 4 teams (yes, that 4 teams) it would be exactly the same than with these 20. :P

do you think it's good for football that one league is so dominant?

Ain't saying anything about refs helping Man Utd in the last games, I'm just happy that Barcelona classified for the UCL final like the way it did, with 10 players and in the last minute :P Thanks Messi for the magic :)

Chelsea got jacked in the end. Barca are lucky to get themselves in the final, so many penalty appeals, but they kept their composure and ended up with the goal at the end.
Anyone see Drogba go ballistic at the ref after the game?

What a fucking goal by Cristiano Ronaldo, absolute magic. United clearly dominated the game the last goal just put ArseANAL to shame counter attacking at it's best.

Barca very lucky to get through, never would've thought they would go scoreless in both games against Chelsea even though having most probably the deadliest attack on earth. Top goal by Essien but Chelsea very unfortunate to make it back to back final appearances even though I would've hated seeing Man U v Chelsea again glad it will be Barca and hopefully they go all out in attack because, though they've been dominating the game, the last two games against Chelsea they havn't been able to finish. Can't wait for the final.

btw, who saw the 6-2 battering of Real Madrid  I thought for sure they would've been able to be more convincing in their game against Chelsea after that.

Al Ka Pwn wrote:do you think it's good for football that one league is so dominant?

Don't see anything wrong with that. Yes it is the most dominant league in football in overall quality but with the likes of Barca, Real, Inter, Milan, Lyon, Bayern they have proven to be able to compete with them.

Clubs have there on and off days. You can't expect a team to be killing every team they face.

Well you have more things to be sad about, Man Utd fans: Cristiano Ronaldo is going to Real Madrid, along with Kaka. 2 of the best players in the world right there.
