Nah, he was fucked. I remember the commentator's mentioning that maybe the ref stepped in early, but looking at the replay, the ref timed it right i'd say. He had his hands over his head and was getting pounded. It was over.

I'm ok with the stoppage

I wonder what the babe on the left was saying in his ear.

I have a feeling Jones is the pound for pound the best fighter at the moment. I can't think of anyone in his weight class that can give him a real fight.
And props to Korean Zombie for beating Hominick on our very homeground. Just nuts. 7 seconds? There is no way that could happen again if there is a rematch between these two though. However, Korean Zombie sure is fun to watch. His fights always end in a surprising manner, win or not.

So, uh, how 'bout that Brock Lesnar?
Still pissed the Xbox Live app never worked.

I suppose in retrospect his retirement isn't altogether surprising given his recent health problems, but still surprising in its suddenness. Speculation is running rampant that he's returning to WWE, but I'm not too sure about the chances of that. Not just yet, anyway.

Despite Brock suffering all the injuries and setbacks in last few years, this really was a no contest from the get-go. Overeem just always has been superior in every possible ways. But Brock still had a short and sweet respectable MMA career. Props to him for making an impact to the world of MMA despite having no related background.

Not completely unrelated. He was a champion amateur wrestler in college.

Calm down. I meant MMA related background as he jumped into the UFC without experience in MMA world to fight the best of the best right from the get go.

Just finished watching UFC 152: Jones vs Belfort. Man, I sure thought that first round arm bar by Belfort was gonna end Bones' title reign. Love him or hate him, Jones is one helluva fighter.
And what's up with the fans booing during the flyweight title fight between Johnson and Benavides? IMO it was a fast paced entertaining fight. But gotta agree with the announcers, maybe some people just wanna see some blood.

It's been a week now since it happened and still no posts about it, fans here must still be in shock lol
PRE-FIGHT HYPE!

This is probably the first preview/promo from the UFC I have seen that makes me wanna watch the match itself.
