Watching Botchmania is more enjoyable than watching actual programming from the current TNA or WWE .

Agreed, I just wish he'd come out with them regularly rather than month breaks then 5 videos released.....this Hardcore Justice one is abnormally quick, nvm the fact that it hasnt been taken down.

holy shit.....ill say it again

Motor City Machine Guns vs Beer Money.......that was the best, no-gimmick, tag team match I've ever seen. Well it was 2 out of 3 falls which is a gimmick, but no weapons/cage/ladder is what I meant.

holy hell.....

RVD Abyss was a spot fest, pin win when I thought it was supposed to be first to use "Janus".....oh well

That's so sad. :( He made a good tag team with Trevor Murdoch back in '08.

RIP Lance Cade.

I think the tag match I posted on the last page can definitely compete with that, but yeah, not taking away anything from the Guns and Beer Money. Awesome matches.
It's probably one of the toughest things to do in Pro Wrestling, taking the same guys for five matches and making every single one of it an instant classic and not make it boring.
They probobaly wouldn't even have needed the gimmick matches for it to make each match as awesome as they were.

I was also going to say something about the last shot we had of RVD at the end of Impact, but the recent death of Lance Cade kinda makes me think they went a little bit too graphical on that scene.

well he died from Heart Failure, not being disemboweled

but yea, that was a pretty messed up image....they definitely got the "shocking" part of Janus in that segment down

Sounds like he had his demons, I wouldn't be too surprised if it's ultimately proven to be drug related. Still a sad turn of events, RIP.

Still, that's kind of a part in pro wrestling that gets me .. If he has developed that much of a hatred towards somebody and actually is in possession of a weapon that could kill a person, why wouldn't he finish the job? I mean next week we're probably gonna find out that RVD is in sort of a coma or something like that, but obviously he won't be declared dead. I think those serious weapons should never be introduced to the viewers, ot at least should never be 'used' like they did on Impact.

RVD is actually taking time off and they are doing a tournament for the next world champ

but I def understand what you mean

Quick Summerslam predicitions even though I haven't been keeping up with the WWE that much lately.

Team WWE vs. The Nexus
Gotta pick the Nexus to win it thanks to some discrepancies in team WWE.
Some speculations about the last guy for Team WWE as well, I would love it to be Bryan Danielson to go against his former group, but that's highley unlikely. Don't think they would pick a guy like him to save Cena's ass. Triple H could be possbile as well, but I think hes legitimately injured.

WWE Champion Sheamus vs. Randy Orton
Could see this go either way really, they could push Orton even further as the company's next big face or keep Sheamus' momentum going. I'm choosing the latter.

World Heavyweight Champion Kane vs.Rey Mysterio
Normally I would say Kane, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say Rey's gonna do it solely for the fact that it is one of the big 4 PPVs, and there's gotta be some kind of 'feel good moment'. Guessing Taker's gonna interfere in their match, costing Kane the title in the process which kicks off their feud.

The Big Show vs.The Straight Edge Society
Can't say much to that match, but I guess this is a classic case of the monster beating up everybody leading to their match at a PPV where he's gotta do the job because of him being outnumbered.

Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston
It's only been a few since he won it, so it's highly unlikely for Ziggler to lose the title in my eyes. Probably a Ziggler win thanks to Vickie or a DQ by Kofi or Zigggler.

Divas Champion Alicia Fox vs. Melina
With a top diva returning, it would be typical case for a Women's title switch but I'm going with Fox here, since they've made her look pretty dominant.

I'll go with Nexus with a side of Cena going heel against Bret Hart

Orton new champion to fued with Cena (aaah the ol switcharoo I see)

Kane remaining champion till taker comes back

SES winning due to a new member joining them

worst name in wresting Zigger winning cause of that wrench that makes me not watch whatever she is on (so no stream for me tonight)

and dont care about divas

"CeNation. Staples Center is somber, quiet. Calm before storm. I feel nervous, on edge. I want to thank everyone out there who has supported me over the years, as I feel this is one of the most important days in my career. In closing, I will say that if you do not watch SummerSlam tonight you will be missing an epic day in WWE history."

From Cena's twitter....he is so going heel.

He just want's us to get psyched for his match. Cena's goin nowhere :)

edit: Ugh. Using an apostrophe for a verb, I usually hate people who do that. :shake:

Re: Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Mon Aug 16, 2010 9:46 am

Nexus, but not cleanly (perhaps with a heel turn); Orton, because they usually telegraph such change with "last ever" title shot stipulations; Kane, to setup the feud with Undertaker and keeping the world title involved; SES due to the numbers advantage but with some dirtiness to ensure Big Show still looks dominant; Ziggler, because it's too early for him to drop the title and it's apparently been a long time in the making; Melina, because she's returning.

Re: Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Mon Aug 16, 2010 10:09 am

I think it would work for Ziggler's push winning with interference.

Cena turning heel on Bret would be epic (just because a heel turn after a five-year run as face would freshen the character) but I don't really expect it to happen because he is Cena anyway. I was hoping for Kane to still be face and just have some other legit kayfabe guy who had 'Taker kayfabe beat up, have 'Taker return and let him be the heel over Kane's title just to freshen things up a bit.

Re: Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Mon Aug 16, 2010 10:15 am

I prefer Kane in the heel role myself and Taker still gets huge face reactions. A heel turn for Cena would be fantastic, it would be a pretty ballsy move given the merchandise he moves but I think ultimately turning heel would be the best thing that could ever happen for his face character as eventually it could be tweaked slightly so that he's a face with a bit of an edge, which is what he should be right now.
