Ok so I was alll set to buy the volvo I mentioned in the good news thread but right before I went to finalize it I decided to call a buddy of mine to come take a peak before I ride off in the sunset with it. He brings another one of his buddies who is a mechanic at heart and of course I come to find out the car is fucked. Has leaks and some other issues they were trying to cover up.

Ah well.

Isn't that kinda good news in a way though. At least you didn't get a shitbox and as a result weren't ripped off. By the way, the car in the good news thread looks real nice. Good pickup!

That sucks dada, I am also looking at a volvo for my next car since I'm going off to college soon. I was looking at the s60 though. They're really good cars if you find one from a reputable used car dealer.... otherwise you could definetly be getting ripped off. I'd say always bring someone with you who knows about cars. My grandpa is a mechanic, so he always looks over cars before we go out and buy them.

Fuck math class. I'm currently taking pre-calculus and I have a 70, which is on the verge of failing. I have to do decent on the exam if I want to pass. My teacher is a complete dickhead. The majority of the class has no idea what the fuck is going on. I just struggle to understand trig functions and it doesn't help that my teacher confuses me even more. Wish me luck.

I think you got the better end of the deal. Didn't get a shit car, got a real nice Ford, won't have to folk out big $$ for parts. Only bad part was the waste of your time, but in the long run you will probably save that time having a decent car that's not breaking down or in the shop all the time.

So...it appears my grandmother is finally going to kick the bucket in the next few days. She can't eat and there is nothing they can do to help her at this point. I have finals next week so if everything fits together I could potentially miss my finals days and taking a nice trip to Florida for my grandma's funeral. Fun.

Have any of you ever missed a finals day? I assume they let you make it up (atleast for a family situation like a death) but it would probably have to be after school right when you come back. I just don't like the idea of missing finals and having that burden of going in after school everyday to take them.

Meh. I'm really selfish to be thinking about that over my grandmother's death.

Okay so my sister and my friends were making pancakes and we got the left overs and walked to some girls house and threw it at her. Now she's all cut and saying that her dad is gonna lecture us so bad.

Then when I got back, I threw up in my garden because I ate pizza, pancakes and pepsi max that night. Someone put Ribena in the fucking pancake mixture lmao.
