On the bright side, WWE's rating will go up in Germany once the Hasselhoff guest host's.

That's the problem for me, TNA has names but it's not enough; WWE still has plenty of names too and WWE's older workers aren't nearly as washed up (there's not nearly enough nostalgic value to make me want to watch Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman, to name but three). The quality of the in-ring product isn't enough to sway me to TNA...but then I've long preferred Smackdown over RAW anyway. Compared to the real Monday Night War, this one is shaping up to be quite mundane on both sides.

Same here. I don't know if it's because of the guest host gimmicks or because of Super Cena being there.

Cena I can handle, but the guest host gimmick is definitely a flop for me. Sadly, it's not hurting the ratings.

At least he's in TNA and not at his home mowing the 'grass'.

I just wish he goes with WWE though, don't know, he was one of my favorite wrestler back in the day and with Booker T one of my all-time favorite tag-champs

TNA did a more respectable 0.9 rating this week while RAW did 3.3. Still not the best news for TNA, taking on WWE was always going to take patience but Bischoff has a proven track record of hotshotting matches and feuds due to an obsession with ratings.

They also have to consider the NCAA Championship for Monday's shows...I'm surprised Raw did as well as they did.

Hate it when I saw Cena's facial reaction when they lose the match against ShoMiz.

TNA's move to 8pm, giving them a hour unopposed to Raw, is permanent and they are regaining their rerun slot on Thursdays. Both good moves. If they get their act together I could see the Thursday timeslot becoming a 2nd show in a few months.....if thet get their act together.

Rumor of creating a stable with all of the ECW Originals in TNA now, especially if Dreamer makes the jump next week (end of his noncompete contract with WWE) TNA plays almost entirely on nostalgia so of course I think making that stable is a good idea.

Good move, it also saves a little face by not abandoning Monday nights completely. Too big a step too soon, or perhaps just the right move bungled by wasted opportunity.

Any thoughts on the ECW Originals Stable?

Rob Van Dam, Brother Ray, Brother Devon, Brother Runt, Rhino, Raven, Dr. Stevie, possibly Dreamer and possibly Taz as the head/manager?

Meh. Typical Bischoff, stable overload. No point in putting them together except for some pointless nostalgia, which for me is TNA's problem. It doesn't encourage me to watch.

Wouldn't surprise me. Should balance things out since they're obviously not turning Cena heel and Undertaker will be taking some time off, leaving the number one face spot on Smackdown vacant.

It's a good idea, should freshing things up. Though I think Randy's gonna have a word in this also, doubt he likes being moved to the B show.

I'm calling Evan Bourne to SmackDown though.

Agreed. He's the top jobber on Raw. Why can't they build him up the way they did on Rey?

Maybe, but ultimately it's McMahon's call. Besides, RAW may "officially" be designated as the A show but in reality I'd give that title to Smackdown. I think so long as Orton's at the top of the card, he'd go along with it. And if he doesn't go along with it, I don't think McMahon would hesitate to remind him who the boss is, no matter how over Orton is.

Triple H is pretty close, they should have added that glasses. I have been imagining Sheamus as a bald guy and it's weird.

So Lockdown, well the parts I caught, was pretty damn good. Bigger crowd and the all cage matches actually worked out well IMO. Loved how the last match had the roof put on, that was cool. The Hardy spot on the top of the cage as well as the ending to the X-Division matches were just insane.

Angle v Kennedy/Anderson stole the show though. That match had the same epic feel as both of the HBK Taker matches. Obviously it wasn't as good as those matches but that friggin moonsault from the top of the cage was insane.
phpBB [video]

That match was pure awesome IMO and if you guys get a chance, catch it on youtube when they stop taking lockdown videos down.

and last night, Image is the new champ. I missed the shows last night but evidently the RVD/Hardy match and the RVD/AJ matches were both great ones. Gonna catch those sometime today.
