I knew about goat (though he's 13 isn't he?). Goat is half believable. The Other Kevin seems less believable to me.

Mon May 29, 2006 12:49 pm

Meh, he (GOAT) was 12 at some point. It only seems less believable because of all the other young-ish retards.

No, I hit the parental permition button and my dad sent an email. So put that in your pipe and smoke it. :P

I once blocked some kid four or five times in one play. It was back when I was a giant, though. I quit growing since then. :( Stuck at lonely six feet.

Oh, I was like 11 or 12, by the way. I've got plenty of crazy basketball stories from my days in Jr. Jazz.

Name: Sam
Height: 5'10
Weight: 65 Kg
Age: 13
Location: Eltham, Melbourne Australia

Preferred Position: PG/C

Playing Position:C/PF/SF

Experience: 5 years

Favourite NBA Player: Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan, Ben Wallace

Realistic NBA Comparison (And Why): Ben Wallace with his blocks rebounds and defense, also with a lot better dribbling, passing and ball handeling skills (Jason Kidd).

Strengths: Defence, Passing, being unselfish

Weaknesess: Upper Body Strength, not attacking the ring enough, being too unselfish, Free Throws.

Favourite move you can do: Duncan type hooks and bank shots

Favourite move you've done once: Blocking from behind on fast break. Rejecting a taller player, and because I hit the ball so hard he came crashing down.

Favourite place to shoot: anywhere in the key

Biggest shot you've made: a fade away close to 3pt line, with the game on the line.

Best game you've played:
#1-Scoring 22 pts
#2- Saving my team in the Preliminary Final with
6 Points
13 Blocks
11 Rebounds

Most satisfying moment: Winning my 2nd Grand Final against the undefeated team (not anymore)

Most shameful moment: Making a very harsh hard foul

Most regretted moment: Same as above

Most painful moment: Losing my 1st Grand Final by 5 points after being undefeated through-out the regular season.

Basketball Goals for the future: Getting my Free Throw % over 70%, learning to use my non preferred hand more for shots and dribbling, being selected to play in the top school team.

I find that very hard to believe. Im 6'2 and 13 and the most blocks ive ever gotten was 8. 13 is way to hard to get my friend.

Thu Jun 08, 2006 7:24 pm

I know it sounds made up but it actually happened.
Thats why is was one of my best games ever.

Thu Jun 08, 2006 9:04 pm

I suppose 5'10" is pretty tall for 13 years old. But 13 blocks sounds ridiculous good for 13 years old.

Thu Jun 08, 2006 10:01 pm

Im well Co-ordinated
and like Big Ben I have jumping skills and I time them well.
When I told my mate at school he didn't beleive me either.

But this isnt a lie

Thu Jun 08, 2006 11:37 pm

Awell, i suppose i did get 18 steals and 36 rebounds in a game once...

Gedas

6'3
Primary: SG
Secondary: PG
I like the SG spot more, cause I like to score. I have great vertical-leap, it helps me a lot. I easily dunk, but I mostly play the perimeter game. Threes and mid-range are the shots for me. I also play good D, even though I might be not the best lock down defender on the team, I get 2.33 steals per game (05/06 season). I averaged 16 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2.33 steals and 0,66 blocks (in Lithuania the stats are counted even in the high school championships). I haven't lost the hope of going pro, even though it's going to be tuff. Last year, after one game at the begining of the season, I had an incredible game (32 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals, 2 blocks), it was against one of the stronger teams, so I got noticed. but after that, I had a couple of bad nights, so I was forgot soon. Anyways, we went to the eight-finals (in entire Lithuania), but then we were knocked out. Next year I think we can go further (the core of our team is 10th graders, so we all playin' for the team for another 2 years, and we gonna get better).

Thu Jun 15, 2006 8:53 am

I'm not sure how you won "MVP" scoring 10 points as your high and admitting that you're a diana tarausi fan.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 11:16 am

Actually i scored 11 points 2X but i guess it makes no difference :D . Dont hate on Taurausi :(

Srbija wrote::shock: Wow, a 13 year old dunking the ball from the free throw line. Amazing, just amazing.

Did you catch the "other" part of it? It was a 9-foot rim.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 9:53 pm

Well the court was ugly so from the free throw was like the baseline,
and really just jumping i jump 8'6" (i touch the ceiling), so in momentum yeah.
Lol i noe it sounds strage so did my friends at school.

Sun Jun 18, 2006 1:18 am

Well I don't know how you're so good after two years of experience and you supposively dunked in a "5 on 5 match," I find it hard to belive that anyone 5' 3" dunks for his first time in a game, unless your league plays with like 6 foot rims. sorry to sound like i'm hating but i'm really athletic 5'10" and 15 and all i can do is grab the rim.

Sun Jun 18, 2006 1:35 am

They had this at the midle of the court.

Sun Jun 18, 2006 1:48 am

Haha yea I was thinking the same thing.

Sun Jun 18, 2006 2:18 am

Earlier I didn't catch this.5 on 5 match, free throw line  .Who are you a member of the and1 team or Harlem Globetroters?9'0 thats like 3 metres. And if you dunked with a basketball that means you had to be like 9'5 up to get a chance to dunk.Just get that bullshit back to the farm, because we ain't buying it here.

Sun Jun 18, 2006 2:21 am

Maybe he had some really "jacked guys" pick him up and throw him in the air so he could dunk, or maybe he's really like 6 and is dad put him on his shoulders.
