Seen it. It IS the best RKO ever. Seems like Kofi forgot what the ending sequence was.

Will be posting in spoilers, don't know who watches TNA, but I don't want to ruin Genesis for anybody.

Pretty good PPV overall. Honestly I couldn't care less about the Nash, Hall, X-Pac and Bischoff storyline, only match I skipped completely. I expected a better match from Pope and Wolfe, had kind of a sloppy pace to it.
Two familiar faces debuted yesterday, Brian Kendrick lost a good match against Amazing Red.
Mr. Ke.., I mean Anderson, also debuted at Genesis. Honestly I don't give a shit about him. I enjoy him on the mic, but in the ring he just bores me. He used brass nuckles to get the win over Abyss.
Kurt and AJ of course had the best match of the night again. Good ending sequence. Some finishers thrown around, Ric Flair comes around and pulls the ref out of the ring as AJ taps out the the Ankle Lock, throws in the belt, AJ hits Angle with it for the 123. Nice heel turn.
Too bad most of the audience is over 14 years old and thus are not bothering for faces and heels, and just cheer anybody they like. AJ still got a major pop.

I thought the TNA PPV was pretty damn good. The only match I didnt watch was Angle vs Styles but I'm sure it was epic like normal.

And TNA has official changed back to the 4 sided ring, the initial promo with Hogan got him a lot of heat and it seems like the TNA crowd still views all of the TNA "originals" as faces and the newcomers as heels even though they are trying to be presented as the opposite.
Opinions are my own.

To me the TNA crowd views everybody as a face. Styles could shoot Angle in the head and they'd still cheer for him.

so iirc, Hogan had 2 main problems with TNA, the ring, and the small arena

so how long until they start taking the show on the road to bigger venues each week after they start going Live each week?

I say May with an outdoor PPV this summer

I can understand why the TNA diehards are unhappy about the change, it certainly was a "trademark" of the company but I've always found it a bit gimmicky. Hogan trashing it upon introducing the traditional ring probably wasn't the best approach though. I definitely think Hogan would like to take the show on the road as he's compared the situation to his arrival in WCW when they were taping the weekly shows in advance with the Disney tapings pre-Nitro and the way WCW took off when they went out on the road. I think to compete TNA ultimately needs to do that, but attendance needs to be a lot better first. They don't have Ted Turner's money behind them this time so they'll have to plan that move a lot more carefully and cost-effectively.

reading the spoilers for the TNA tapings for this week

AJ is now Flair's mentor and evidently Ric says he hates Hogan but loves TNA

and yay....we get a TNA "orlando" screwjob with hebner

It looks like they are finally getting everyone settled into their new personas and from the sounds of the spoilers I'm def still checking this out Thursday

Yes, that DX shirt. :shake:

Anyone else think that the 'taker-HBK rematch would be a title match? I really don't see Rey winning over Undertaker (well, so much "creativeness" of the creative team may do so).

I honestly don't wanna see HBK-Taker part 2. At least not at WrestlMania.
What else could they do? They pretty much did everything last year, it would just take away from the greatness of the first one.
Maybe do it at Summerslam, so Shawn could actually win.

Anyone else realised that Mania 26 is actually 'the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania'?

Yes it definitely is. So much for their promo purposes.

Doing a repeat may require them to do other things apart from what they did last year (Shawn kicking out of the Tombstone was pretty cool).

Come to think of it, if they'll do it as a title match, it's a long 3 months of promo.

And somehow Shawn has a win-loss pattern since WM21.

I think it would still be a fine match, but I don't think they can top what they did last year. Booking-wise, it's a tough situation as well. Having HBK lose to Taker two years in a row doesn't seem right, yet I don't think HBK should be the one to end the streak either; it would waste an opportunity to give a huge rub to a younger talent when Taker is ready to hang it up. If a title is on the line then that adds a new spin to the match/angle but I don't know that that's enough. They went all out and had the match of the year last year, I really think they should leave it at that (or at least avoid doing it two years in a row). I agree with the idea of having the rematch with HBK going over at another PPV, perhaps Summerslam as buzzy said.

Part of me would like to see a rematch, it will get stale soon though.

I'm thinking that the Rumble will end up with either Shawn and HHH as the final two.

Wouldn't surprise me, though I have a feeling Cena has a good chance at winning the Rumble as well given his current "I'm not going to lose until I get the title back" angle.

I hate Cena but I want him to win the rumble and face Taker at WM26.

*Cena will lose to Taker and eventually will become WWE's top heel.

I'd kind of prefer it to Taker/HBK simply for the originality, though I have a feeling Cena would end the streak.

i don't think vince is ready to make cena heel just because of the revenue he generates plus he's kinda the face of pg wwe.. women and children like him so much haha.. but it would be cool if it did happen.. back to the thuganomics cena... but then again wwe's pg now.. so the freestyle rap might not happen.. for now i'd like a full-fledged hhh heel turn.. maybe in the royal rumble.. just as lean said maybe he n hbk can be the final two.. then hbk wins.. they shake hands after.. then hhh lays out hbk haha.. i know it's not original.. but a very possible heel turn angle nonetheless

HHH/HBK was rumoured to be in the works at some point, though perhaps they've delayed or scrapped that plan completely in favour of keeping DX together and going with Taker/HBK Part 2. As for Cena, I agree a heel turn would be unlikely given the amount of merchandise he moves. Of course, were he to simply act a little more like a heel, he could still be a face and over with the whole crowd while still moving merchandise.

During the Mike Tyson guest host week, have you heard a bunch of crowd shouting "Cena sucks!" and cheering for Randy.
