Chelsea agree deal for Ten Cate

Thu Oct 11, 2007 4:33 am

Yeah wtf is up with that? He's gone from manager of Ajax to one of two assistants at Chelsea. Very strange, he's either going to do all the work with Grant as the face taking the credit, or he'll just take over eventually.

Thu Oct 11, 2007 4:37 am

he's problaby going to take it over i hope

South American Qualifiers start on Saturday. I have classes so I'll miss the Chile - Argentina match  :x

Mon Oct 15, 2007 6:14 am

They let us go home early, but Chile still lost 2-0. Roman is a fucking great player, both of his goals were free kicks.

Fri Oct 19, 2007 9:28 am

So yeah Drex, as I was saying...

Chile won 2-0 against Peru. The team looked great from time to time. Argentina keeps winning, Paraguay looks solid as always, and you should check Robinho's play for Brazil's 3rd goal. It was amazing.

What a game by Croatia! They had nothing to win with this game but honor.
I honestly believe they have a chance of winning Euro 2008... hey if Greece can win it

Also McClaren fired right after the game lol

Fri Nov 23, 2007 7:34 am

 at Jugs.

Actually to be exact. Four Croatian players have been promised to get Mercedes's by a Russian oil mogul if they beat England and Russia gets to the Euro 2008.

And I love that brazilian guy on the Croatian team Eduardo. Just the way he gets crazy with the ball is soccer poetry.

ANELKA THE BUTTERFLY MAN !

haha, even though I'm a Manchester supporter I don't mind seeing them concede a goal from him, his been a gun player all season but, I do mind them loosing.

EDIT: I think I need to change my custom title

Sydney FC vs LA Galaxy

what a sucky match so far

Tue Nov 27, 2007 8:19 pm

Bloooooooooowout.

Tue Nov 27, 2007 8:21 pm

I didn't expect Sydney FC to be winning 3-0 after 30 minutes.

Thu Dec 20, 2007 10:11 am

Not a bad week in the English Premier League with possibly the greatest matches played, on paper that is. Didn't really live upto the hype but as long as Manchester won I'm happy.

Did anyone see Fabregas take out Cole and then recieve a "push" to the face/neck.

Arsenal are leading the English Premiership going into the New Year's after they beat Everton and having Manchester United lose to West Ham. Boo Ya. Eat it, Manchester United.

By the way, here's the draw for the final 16 of the Champions League, with my predictions in bold:

Celtic vs Barcelona
Olympique Lyonnais vs Manchester United
FC Schalke 04 vs FC Porto
InterMilan vs Liverpool
AS Roma vs Real Madrid
Arsenal vs AC Milan
Olympiacos vs Chelsea
Sevilla FC vs Fenebahce

Tue Jan 01, 2008 8:30 pm

Arsenal-Milan face each other too early, that should be like a semi - final :|

Fri Jan 04, 2008 11:54 pm

Fairly late with this, but just for the people that didn't know who won the Fifa World Player of the Year, this is the top 3.

1. Kaká
Points: 1047
Club: AC Milan

2. Lionel Messi
Points: 504
Club: Barcelona

3. Cristiano Ronaldo
Points: 426
Club: Manchester United

and a link to the whole list (including the women's award)

The EPL is great fun at the moment with Arsenal beating Newcastle 2-0 to takeover the top spot UNTIL this morning where Manchester United beat Portsmouth 2-0 with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring both. He is truly on fire with 28 appearances and 27 goals in total.

Anyone caught the Arsenal - Milan match?

Damn, what a game. Non stop action on the pitch. Arsenal really wanted a goal, but with a great performance by AC Milan's goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac, they' we're denied in every attempt they tried. Maldini is something else too. The guy's 40 and is still in top shape. Just amazing. Arsenal had one big chance at the end, but Adebayor (spelling?) was denied by the crossbar. It was a shocking end indeed and Milan were lucky to get away with 0-0.

Wait... what? Kalac had a good game?? The World is clearly ending, say goodbye to your loved ones!

I for one was impressed. He made some nice saves through the match.

His hair is something not to look at though.

The ref ruined that game for Inter. Hopefully they'll be able to come back and win the game with +2 in Milano though. But I doubt it, since Liverpool will probably set up a 0-1-9 formation..
