If they build for a Cena-Taker match for Mania, at least we're going to see Cena lose at the big stage! :)

Watching Smackdown yesterday, I was a bit annoyed by Striker's commentary especially during the CM Punk segment. It reminds me a bit of JBL's commentary where he's not really sure whether he wants to be a face or heel, to the point where he contradicts his point of view every second sentence. Not much they can do with JR out, but it seems the announce teams have gone from bad to worse to the point where Cole and King, formerly the most awkward pairing, is now probably the best.

Predictions anyone?

I'd take only the world title matches to consideration. I honestly think that both titles will be retained by the both Cena and 'Taker ESPECIALLY Cena. :shake: If these were the 90's they could go with having HBK or Triple H (again) as champion and have the feud extended to WrestleMania.

As for the WHC, well I haven't seen someone carry three belts. They could go with Jericho too.

well i went 4/6, not too shabby

only read the results online and seemed like a decent show, the team of Miz, Shaemus and that other dude sounds interesting and makes me want to pay attention tomorrow for raw.

I liked what they did with batista and rey, that should make things nice and ugly between them

That's the thing about Smackdown, a heel Batista is reminiscent of the Evolution days of Batista.

It's refreshing too, he didn't have a bad run as a face but it was probably time for a change and the new jerkass bully persona seems to be working.

5/6, should've known Kofi would go over. Certainly looks like he could have a bright future.

4/6, wow Kofi is getting pushed hard.

World Title Matches were too predictiable, I literally called the WWE Title match play by play.

Just finished watching TNA's Turning Point. Loved it, the Heavyweight Title bout was the best wrestling match I've seen in a long time.

I am sorry for the douple post, but this is worthy of one - of course it's got to do with Y2J.

At SS, while outside the ring, some fan said to Jericho "Go back to Toronto!".
As he is dragging Undertaker back to the ring, he slightly turns his head and answers "I'm from Winnipeg, you idiot!"

I read it somewhere and because I didn't catch it the first time watching, I rolled back the clip and I'm still laughing my butt off.
The spontaneity is just brilliant.

If you can watch it again, it's about 4 minutes into the match, after Undertaker missed the big boot over the barricade.

Good stuff. My second favourite Jericho/audience moment, behind Summerslam last year when he punched HBK's wife leading an irate woman in the front row (or close to it) to angrily cry out "Bet y'all feel like a big man now, Jericho!"

That's it. I might watch Survivor Series to see Jericho greatness.
