"Grand Theft Auto V features voice-overs from real gang members"

Can't wait until we can get an actual gangster as a pre-order bonus.

So the game's made in San Diego CA... Half the Californians looked gangster to me. Shouldn't have been too hard to find em imo. LOL

I mean, El Salvadorian gang dudes with amazing tattoos and one of which literally had gotten out of prison the day before.

"Half the Californians?" Where did you go?

uh I wouldn't imagine there's very many Salvadorian gangsters in the San Diego that I know. Plus the people that make the game (i.e. nerds) don't know what they look like either

and you are Canadian. I bet every person of color looks gangster to you

Didn't mean no offense to Californians, sorry.

C'mon. Rockstar Sudio is in Carlsbad San Diego, which is like half an hour drive from LA. And no, has nothing to do with color of skin! Vancouver is a city of more multiculturalism and I embrace it.

I'd say it's due to difference in how people speak and wear. You guys speak cooler and wear less(nice weather!) but more tattoos and accessories.

yes, we are THAT cool, and PDub and I accept your compliments, but being cool doesn't make us "gangsta"

Maybe fast enough to get a speeding ticket.

So it wasn't a speed trap, just NovU being a criminal. Typical canadien.

Re: GTA V

oh yeah I forgot about that. usually traffic prevents you from going that fast, but in that case NovU is the criminal/gangster and all the Salvadorian gangsters in the game should look like him!

You honk your horn outside of your buddy’s Vinewood apartment. He walks out and hops in your Aston Martin-ish car. He gets control of your radio. “Put it back on WCTR talk radio, dammit,” you say. “I want to listen to Lazlow.” You drive a couple miles, park, and get out. You each equip masks and glasses from the unique-to-GTA Online inventory menu, and walk into a convenience store. One of you points a gun at the clerk behind the counter. You can actually scream at him through your chat headset in order to intimidate him, making the cash grab go faster. You speed away with the police in pursuit, but eventually lose them in a parking garage under some downtown Los Santos skyscrapers. With the heat gone, it’s up to your friend – the one who actually got the cash from the clerk – to divvy up the cash as he sees fit. He could give you 10%, but then you could simply stop the car, get out, shoot him in the face, and take all the money for yourself. Or, you know, you could just split it 50-50 like gentlemen.

On a related note, you’re able to insure your cars in case other players steal them. You wouldn’t want to lose that heavily modified, custom Cheetah you spent thousands of in-game dollars and lots of time tricking out, would you?

Novu, wanna rob stuff?

Racing

and take hits off of your bong. You can even get high, which will have screen-altering effects.

:lame:

there will be everything from 2-player missions on up to full-blown 16-player quests.

Yes, there are movies to watch in Grand Theft Auto V, and in Online you can watch them with your friends.

omfg
If something bad happens and you’re killed, your wallet will just be lying there, on your corpse, ripe for anyone to come along and pluck it out of the pool of your blood. You’ll need to stop at one of the many ATMs scattered around the city in order to deposit – and thus secure – your earnings. Fortunately, places like Ammu-Nation and real-estate brokers accept debit cards, so you won’t need to extract massive stacks of cash from the ATM in order to make big purchases.

Create Your Own Missions

Where's Sauru and Novu? oh....not again
Because who goes to strip clubs alone? And yes, there is a “Make it Rain” button to use while your friends look on. You’re also able to touch the girls during private dances, but wait for the bouncer to look away before you do. Get caught being touchy-feely three times and you’ll be tossed out on the street.

What is the recommended amount of money for one to make it rain?

Re: GTA V

the only thing that would make this game better is if it included the LA Lakers running around town so i could run them all over to the sounds of GOURANGA!!!!!!!

I love this. More activities than I've ever imagined. I personally really like ATM/wallet system. I already have an idea how to kill some fools. Lurk around ATM machine, when someone shows up to make a deposit, shoot the fool and just bank it to your account.

i am sure many people have already had that thought. i figure the ATM's will be the big hot spot of offline play. however with the ability to toggle pvp on/off i assume people will switch to no pvp mode, drive around until whatever timer they have runs out, then go to the atm.

Re: GTA V

Thu Sep 05, 2013 3:22 pm

Reminds me of dayz bandits. They would scout towns waiting for you to get all the loot you could find, then kill you and take what they wanted.

I like the car idea. That really puts the grand theft auto back in grand theft auto.

Re: GTA V

Thu Sep 05, 2013 5:05 pm

There's no way the game's gonna be 100% troll/griefing proof if there's actual strong asset building element involved in online mode. I suspect a lot of bandits and psycho nubjobs to deal with.

I actually wanna try insurance fraud now. Say Sauru insures his junky electric car then I steal and sell it. We split the insurance money. Easy way to make $$$. LoL

PSN Day 1 Digital Preordered, picked up Red Dead Undead for the 75% off too (I have regular Red Dead on 360).

It sucks, I get to wake up at 3am to start my PS3 so it will download (no preload due to leak, no autostart on PS3 even with PS+), but I would much rather drag my ass out to the next room and turn my PS3 on, than drive 30 minutes one way to get a midnight launch of it.
