I didn't want to start a new thread about it, so I'll post it here: my proposal to the mods - how about we had a sticky thread where people could post youtube links with funny clips (or at least the ones they find funny)? That would mean a possiblity for a significant drop of crap threads in the General Talk.

Ah for fuckity fucks sake, I finished a 2000 words report about Sports Nutrition last night on my laptop and my laptop was working choppy all day, and then it was the second last period of school and I had to use my laptop, and it wouldn't turn on! It kept just going to 'do you want to use safe mode, or start windows normally' etc etc and it just wouldnt go to the login screen. And I got told my laptop needs to get re-imaged and all my school work is backed up except for the 2000 word report which is essential for my assessment and revision for my exam in 6 days Fucking stupid laptop cunt head bastard.

That sucks To be ultra safe, I'd put it on my memory key (or jumpdrive or whatever they're called) but that's a little paranoid. In short, it just sucks to get something like that at this point.

I got a memory key/stick thing but it is fucked, I back up my work through the school's network, we get a free network drive with 150mb of space, its pretty good as you can access it on other computers and such..

Ah sucks, my teacher agreed that I could sort of do my report again, the report was like a million questions about some website, all I need to know is quite a few things, meh. Doesn't matter much.

Oh and today was casual clothes day and I wore my UNFKNBLVBL shirt and I walked up to that same teacher and she started reading my t-shirt and she was like mumbling - "Un fk...." and the yells out "DONT MAKE ME SAY THA1!1!!!" hilarity was immense. The teacher's hot though so yeh..

I hate college. I remember how you had to study a day or two max to get an A in HS. Now? My exams are still two and a half weeks ago and I'm already panicking. Modern History, Modern Political Theory, Political System of the Republic of Slovenia, Political and Social Psychology, Basis of Communicology, English, Basis of EU and Metodology of Šolitical Research, I hate you all. Who said that college is supposed to be fun? Well, fuck you! You have to study like hell to mantain a good average grade so you can get your masters and phd or go study abroad and do all sort of things during the year for you to gain experience/skills and become competive when it comes to looking for a decent job. Is this how today's society works? You're never good enough, there's always another level for you to reach and the more you know, the harder your life is. There's always that question - do you have what it takes? You know, the big words - Intelligence, Knowledge, Skills, Competivness, that sort of things. If you don't have it, someone else has and he'll show no fucking mercy. Fuck Fight Club, self-improvement is the answer.

Actually, I'm doing quite well and I'm starting to enjoy my studies more and more, I just don't find the whole college experience as fun as advertised by some, if you know what I mean. IMO, HS was the best years of my life. OK, perhaps not the best, but I certainly the years when I could just lie back and enjoy the show without thinking or worrying about anything. The whole thing is based on a principle of adaptation and - logically - the freshman year is the one that gets you going and pushes you to adapt to the whole system. After the next two month, everything will be much easier.

Don't force the game, let the game come to you.
Don't expect it to be fun and happy, just do what you're supposed to do in school and that is to study.

Have you guys ever played with those really arrogant, egotistical, selfish but terribly crappy basketball players? When I play basketball I don't talk much, I'm pretty much a laid back person who doesn't like to start anything, but holy fuck this guy on my team needs to have his head rearranged so his brain gets enough oxygen to understand that he's a complete and utter prima donna.

Scenario 1:
Me "Ok guys, so I'll get bob dole on defence, do you want to get john smith?"

Arrogant prick "I was here on the court before you came here man, don't tell me who to guard on the court."

Me "Alright, I'm just pointing out that you need to pick a man-"

Well, that went very well. We lost the 3 on 3 game by a blowout because one of the worst players on the team that he was supposed to defend torched us. After the game:

Ok he leaves, we have a good time, but I'm still very, very, very, very, very, very, very, annoyed at his attitude. He turned something really small into something stupid when it was clearly his fault. Fucking guy can't take criticism, I swear he's as soft as a spongecake. I'm a very tolerant person when it comes to garbage that isn't supposed to be said on the court, but man, looking at this guy's face just pisses me off.

When I was playing rep basketball we had a guy move down from Sydney and want to play. He basically told everyone that he was some huge basketball star in Sydney, and then when the coach asked him what position he played he goes "well I've got a great handle... so I can play PG and I can shoot so I can play SG and SF... I'm a great defender so I can play PF and I'm quite tall for my age so I could play C too.. so yeah, I'll replace anyone in your starting 5".

So the first game comes along, he starts at PG (our regular PG was sick) and starts playing like some awful hybrid of Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury and Darrick Martin... he attacked the hoop everytime he touched the ball, barely finished any of his lay-ups and I don't think he passed once. He never played again after that game, I was so tempted to start blocking his shots. Even though we were on the same team.

Well, i met the most amazing chick last month and after a month of getting close to her etc she gave me a chance which is rare because shes known to be picky.

So, i broke off with my current squeeze at the time and started going out with the amazing chick. Then just this afternoon, she starts having a fit saying i lied and shit about what kind of person i am.

I had no idea what the fuck shes on about then it turns out my ex told her i dumped the her because she didn't put out and i was only looking for some ass.
