The Letting Off Steam Thread

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I miss Skydome. I don't like the new Rogers Centre name.

My laptop is probably going through the longest warranty period repair time in the history of the world. I sent my laptop in late March because the cd drive wouldn't burn on rewritables. It has been 3 weeks today since I sent it in and I have still not received it back yet , and the part the repair depot needs to replace the bad cd drive wont' come in until Wednesday. How DAMN long does it take to replace a cd drive? DAMN IT. :x

decent , not too hot and not too cold. The truth is I'm 200 miles south of Maryland at college so I don't know what weather Maryland has been having lately.

I wish the laptop would come back soon...eventually all the hours away from NBA Live 06 take a toll on you. I haven't even played that game in over a month!

I'm member of many forums, so I can check the everyday homerism of different fans, although I post only here. I've been a member of Lakersground.net for quite a while now and I had only one post, which I wrote a couple of months ago or so. But five minutes ago, this message awaits me:

What the hell? I knew they were crazy, but not that crazy? And is there any way I can contact the webmaster/admin, if I am completely and utterly banned?

That's the problem. There is no e-mail adresses on their main site and I can't PM anyone. It's not like my life is over or anything, I just enjoyed being pissed off by posters over there and they had some guys from which I actually learned something about scouting and such.

Positive steam. :)

I was playing my bro at MVP Baseball; I knocked around his starting pitcher for 4 runs, so he put in his best reliever. First pitch with the reliever, my bro's timing is off so the pitcher throws a ball, then throws out his shoulder with tendonitis.

Postive steam here too.

I was playing 21 today with some of my friends during pe. Anyway, one of em (he can jump like crazy too) went up once over top of the big man. The big guy is about 6'5 350 lbs but he's slow and shoots with two hands and repeatedly misses from under the basket. Anyway, the (white) guy that can jump like crazy goes up at him and almost climbs up him in mid air and does a finger roll. He was almost up high enough to dunk it. Anyway, I had 8 blocks lol and I'm only 5'9 but let's see...Ok, I went up once not even jumping with a little floater and I didn't see the white guy that can jump and he came outta nowhere and blocked my shot loool. I was like "i'm gonna get you back" lol and I did.

He went at the big guy again when he got the ball and he figured he'd try to dunk it this time since he got a boost last time. Anyway, he's going up with his right hand and i'm coming from the right but he doesn't see me. So he's got the ball palmed and jumps and I come out of nowhere and swat his shit. He falls out of the air and lands flat on his back lool. Everyone was like "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" I walked around flexing. They ended the game right there and said I won lol. That makes 2 wins in 2 weeks :P.

where the fuck does this shit ass league get off suspending raja and not evans? they want the lakers to win, just because it's LA and there's a market. that's bullshit. you should let the better team win, not the team that might make you more money

Fuck, I got a bigass AP History exam tomorrow. 3 1/2 hours probably. 80 multiple choice, 2 Free Response questions (essay) and 1 Document Based Question (essay). I only have 70 minutes total for the FRQs and 45 for the DBQ. It takes me like 2 hours to write a dang essay. Not to mention on the practice tests I missed 39/80, 43/80 and 57/80. Dang, I hate history. And my stupid ass teacher. I know more about her history than I know about US history. :(

Heh. It's good to be a Canadian because our history is so bland that you don't really have to remember that much.
