Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Yeah, not sure that's relevant to this thread...
It's quite relevant to this thread, as it suggests that this thread should be in the Other Games forum....

How you didn't know to post this in the Other Games section I don't know; since you've got 173 posts as well as you've also signed the petition for 2k- in there? Oh well, moved...

Question....how does the NCAA import feature work, and what are the results from it?
Tue Oct 10, 2006 11:58 am
Two questions that could probably be answered by someone who had 2K6....
-How long can you do a dynasty for, and how well does it progress? For example, how many years did Lebron/Kobe play for, and how good did the 2005-06 rookies become?
-How good does the draft class NCAA import work? Can you do it every single year throughout your dynasty, and how accurate is it?

Sorry guys, I completely forgot about the other games thread when I was posting this one. And I haven't tried the NCAA feature yet since i haven't tried College Hoops 2K7.

But i've seen the crowd in many gameplay videos and it does'nt look bad, players walking in between isles and cheerleaders and mascots on the sidelines along with camera men It's the most impressive audience to date in any bball game.

I want this game badly..
it's still haven't been released in Asia yet.
A shop keeper told us it will arrive next week, but some said it'll hit no earlier than November...
I played the DEMO so many times and really am excited to play the final version.

I've crossed the line. Just ordered a 360 and NBA2k7. Now all I have to do is wait for the 27th of October.

You may have seen the XBox 360 version which would be alot better. But honestly, NBA Live 06 for the PC has better crowds then this game. But at least this crowd is interactive which is what you were referring to with the fans walking up and down the aisles.

good review, the only thing i dont like about the graphics is the player faces, other than that the graphics are hella crisp, they went the extra mile on details

Does NBA 2k7 have a direct pass thing?
Thu Oct 12, 2006 7:29 pm
yeah but it sucks because you push R2 to toggle it and it goes aaway after like a second or two. also when you try to do it too fast, you wind up passing it off to the nearest person or not passing at all. definitely prefer Live's holding direct pass method.
Thu Oct 12, 2006 7:39 pm
You cant hold down R2 to keep it going?

I agree, direct passing in 2k games pales in comparison to Live games....that's only one of a few things it's not as good in though

That doesn't happen in the 360 version.

That R2 problem used to happen to me when i first started playing 2k6, but now I'm pretty used to it. I still think it's better because of the Direct lead icon passing or w/e, you press R2 as usual, and then which ever direction your pointing in, thats where the ball will be passed and where the man will go. This can be extremely useful for give and goes, and leading a player to the basket etc.

I was watching this special on 2k7 for the ps3, at the end they ask Shaun Livingston, Corey Maggette, Dwight Howard and Andre Iguodala what nba game they like best.
Well, they all start by saying they used to play Live before but are now switching to nba 2k since they thought the last live versions weren't that good (probably mildy put).

Just goes to show that EA really need to get their a-game going for live 08 (or dare i say, a great patch) when even nba players are turning their back to them publicly.

So, will there be an intrest of a NLSC-league when the 27th comes around?
Fri Oct 13, 2006 9:17 pm
Great video!

The best part begins at 3:34 ,then they all pwn EA

Maybe EA will do something now... Even NBA players switch to 2k7 which is way much better then live...
And talking about the 2k7. Damn, you gotta play it

The only problem is, i don't have ps2 or xbox 360..

And that free throw action with controller was just great

2kSports must release NBA 2k8 on PC and totally pwn EA
Fri Oct 13, 2006 9:39 pm
I'm really starting to feel bad about EA.
