Fourteen Years Running the NLSC

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Thanks Nick. :) Yeah, there probably have been times where I've ended up being too stuffy, too "robotic" was it was once described, because of the way I was trying to carry myself. Like I said, I think a big part of that is being a young man trying to act grown up, as opposed to a person who at this point, has hopefully grown up a bit for real. One of those things that only comes with age and experience. Same goes for some of the confrontations I had back in the day; I know I'd handle those better now.

I think you pretty much just described yourself as Tim Duncan right there Andrew lol

Hey, I've had less flattering comparisons. I'll take it. ;)

Haha, totally. The Big Fundamental.

Would also accept comparisons to Grant Hill, Derek Fisher, and Shane Battier.

The latter two are notorious floppers, so I'm not sure quite how to feel about that.

Some of the hosting issues we had to deal with from 2001-2004 were reminiscent of Grant Hill's injury woes though, so I actually kind of like that comparison...in addition to holding Hill in high regard, of course.

Andrew takes over August 26, 2001. There's no Live PC version that year. Coincidence?

Andrew celebrates five years at the helm in 2006. The last "real" version of Live for PC comes out. Coincidence?

Andrew celebrates ten years at the helm in 2011. There's no Live versions at all that year or the next year. Coincidence?

Follow the money.

Not forgetting how I allowed all those terrible calls to happen in the NBA Playoffs year after year, while letting my puppet "David Stern" (one day, his real name will come out, probably) take the heat for it.

It's just how diabolical I am. I had a hand in events that happened 21 years before I was born!
