Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

anyway, wot sorta lancer you got?

one with absolutely no power! It's in the avatar, minus the white rims and plus some shadow chrome ones... I know the pic ain't very clear.
I would have loved to spend 30k+trade in of my car when I start working full time (gotta finish school) on an evo 5 or 6, but I might wanna invest in something which is gonna pay off in the long run - which means the best option might be to make my current car "go" once I start work.
LOL it ain't exactly a unique car, but what can you do, and hey, plenty of aftermarket stuff available (rice) (y) :P

oh and aherm, the topic... yeah I'd like to challenge NBL hero Tony Ronaldson. Fat ****.

I have just said that is bad sport spirit to refuse to play anyone that is better than yourself because you'll lose, that's a bullshit attitude.
I think that a player that tryes to win and give all even if he is much worse as a player has better sport spirit than a crying looser that is a good player.

For Example: Pau Gasol in the EURO basketball contest in the final, he was like a crying baby when it got bad.

slam harder, what do you want to know? that he grew up on springdale ave. two houses down from me, that i once ran all the way from our elementary school to his house to tell him he won a ten speed bike in thr raffle at our fair, that i used to babysit him and our friend eric who lived next door to him, that we played football all the time in the park across the street, soverel field, or in one of the backyards on the block, that i call his parents by their first names even though i'm only four years older than him, that his brother brandin, who went to pittsburgh, started dribbling around two years old and was actually better than brevin was at every stage of his game, and also wanted to play quarterback instead of basketball, partially from watching me play all those years in the park, that brandin was too small to play with us and everyone would leave him standing in front of the house by himself since he couldn't cross the street on his own and i was the only one to go back and get him, i could tell you brevin's first girlfriends name, but won't do that. his dad melvin had actually made the celtics and then blew out his knee and missed his shot. oh and brev was being recruited by villanova, but they decided to go with another guard who was bigger, who turned out to be al williams from toronto i believe, and then they played against each other in a tournament and brev had 9 steals, and ripped williams six times. i got more but i guess that SHOULD at least prove i'm not lying. i also know a guy named marquis bragg who had a short stint with utah and lived down the street from me, and have met quite a few so called professionals or celebrities or whatever you want to call them. i wouldn't lie though, that stuff doesn't really impress me much. they're just people.

i thought he was really starting to take his game to another level that year, but can't figure out what's happened since except for the injuries. he had a rep from high school thru college of being able to determine what the other pg was going to do before he did it, and at his games a bunch of us would taunt the other pg to dribble the ball up court right in front of brev, because we knew he was going to get picked. and he would. then coaches would have their guards back the ball up against him. once against seton hall, they had brian caver stay away from the offense out on the wing to keep brev away from the ball because he was so sneaky on the court. but he doesn't seem to have the same creativity that he did before. he plays more of a no risk style now even though he never really had a turnover problem. i know he can play at a higher level than he has the last few years, but he seems hesitant to do it. some think his size is working against him, but he's been knocked around by bigger guys his whole life cause he was always smaller than everybody else, so i know he's used to that. he should be starting somewhere, but he needs to let it all out on the court again. and even during his rookie year there was this trend since high school where his team would be up or at least even when he was in, as soon as he sat the other team would go ahead or even the score, then he would go back in and his team would go up again. he used to expect that to happen, and it usually did more often than not. i wonder if he still sees the game the way he used to. that's something he's got to find out for himself though.
