I have Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. I used it a lot back in the days for browsing, reading, and occasional gaming. Primary use for it has been web browsing before going to sleep, lol.
IPAD interface is probably simpler for non-techie people. But Samsung Galaxy series is one of the safest bet for android tablets imo. You know, I think it's still Samsung vs Apple even in tablet market.
