Even here in Greece,one channel is going to have full cover of the wedding and will have some documentaries about it as well!!
We are not a british territory,we're not even related at all with Britain,why in the world this wedding is so hyped in Greece!

Aren't the English and (former?) Greek royal families related? Both descendants of Christian IX of Denmark I believe.

Plus it's just a curiosity that will attract viewers.

Well yeah,it's true that the two royal families derive from the same ancestors, but monarchy was abolished more than 40 years ago here in Greece, but I guess that's more about the fuzz and the viewers. Not 1 but 3 different channels showed the wedding today!
