Agreed, it's a waste of a year each time they win.
My new year's resolutions are to get promoted again because it sucks not to be able to save any money ever, to possibly buy a house, and to try to be less lousy husband I guess...

Same here, only probably I'll go through the mandatory military service first.

I have a feeling that you won't have to worry about next year then.

IMO as long as no one important in your life died and you kept a roof over your head, then your 2010 wasn't THAT bad.

Hope to just stay home, and play NBA 2K11. 2010 was not a good year for me, in fact, 2009 was loads better. Hopefully 2011 can be a better year and if the Lakers don't three-peat, then 2011 will be an awesome year overall. Happy new year everyone!

Staying in bed home alone, considering I don't know anyone in this town. Families going to NY for the weekend, but I work Sunday so I can't go.

On a positive note, I've been watching the twilight zone marathon on scyfy all day. (Y) Happy New Years everybody!

Happy New Year, everyone! Had a great evening with my friends and celebrated with a few cold ones before switching to Sprite so I could drive home at a little after 2 in the morning.

got back from vegas last night, i mean this morning at 6 am. 1st 2 nights were really fun. i won $180 in 10 mins right when i got there playing craps. i eventually dumped it all back in the next couple days. NYE itself was greaton E. last two days sucked. lost $400 gambling, lost my $30 hat on the drive back. however, on the last day, i ate bbq at the best ribs place in vegas. it was really helpful learning things about vegas when you live there for a year. it usually takes 4 hours each way to drive there. on the way back it took 3 hours to get through the mountain pass since it was snowing which is rare to see in california. i assume it's snowing in vegas right now.

oh and i checked out the new casino called Cosmopolitan. it is the new standard for las vegas casinos. so sexy. walking through my head was like an owl's head, on a swivel. i kept turning to look at scenery, girls, tables... went ot aria because my roommate had never seen it and i saw Michael Finley there. i was a big fan of his when he was on dallas, but i hate the spurs and celtics. anyways, as we walk by him, i said "hey, what's up mike?" and he quickly looks at me and looks away to pretend like he didn't hear me. what a douchebag. i did sit at a $10 blackjack table with ufc fighter mike brown. he was a couple hours removed from a split decision loss so i pretended not to recognize him. he was really nice.

dammit that's normally not my thing at all but in my state of mind at the time, i could've totally kissed this british chick standing near us since she was the 3rd wheel in her group and was jealous of her friend kissing her boyfriend. i was gonna try something but i needed a couple more minutes to set it up.

No, you just get their attention and lay it on them. "Happy New Year! (Hug)...(Smooch)" It's a cultural thing, I guess.
