Adam Carolla's take on it:
He doesn't want his kid to have ANY disadvantages when it comes to picking up and fucking in high school, so he got him cut.

not a bad thought process

I don't want my kid to have ANY disadvantages in life, so I'm enslaving all the blacks and murdering all the native americans in my area. And wiping out the Koreans, but not the Asians they'll get their own, for pimping cars on this forum.

not a bad thought process.

Protip: if not being circumcised is why you can't pick up chicks in high school, they're just looking for any out they can find. They work like any other dick. Takes like one second to deal with in all circumstances unless you're Thug and don't know how to pull back your minor amount of skin, piss or clean shit. It's not the fucking rosetta stone.

Pro-circumcision is the weirdest position to take, at least with gays you have the whole non-procreation thing to argue from a rational point of view. With circumcision you're just arguing that people should have it done because WELL OTHERS DID. Anyone who rejects a person for that is so superficial they honestly aren't worth it.

Just because, the HIV shit. Not valid. The chance of catching HIV though heterosexual contact (even ANAL) is so low it's almost statistical noise. Really, look into this. I'm not saying don't use condoms or anything, but in the West you are pretty much not going to get AIDS or HIV on a hook-up, herpes, yes, of course, but AIDS is more or less beaten if you aren't insane.

It was commanded in the old testament as part of the covenant with God. However When Jesus was resurrected that requirement was done away with. However there studies coming out that do show a correlation of lower disease risk when the male is circumcised. What is interesting that more scientific evidence is showing that other old testament laws had health benefits other than just being at peace with God.

That's because they weren't commanded by God but instead man giving it a higher justification to convince the idiots who never accept evidence and logic. It's why so many secular people, especially vegetarians and vegans, think highly of kosher food. Not because of its magical God-approval, but because of its healthy production standards.

The correlation of the disease risk is so low it's probably statistical noise as well as male levels of infection are far lower to begin with. There is basically no explanatory basis to why a circumcised male would be less likely to get a disease.
