Because if you orgasm all over it when you undo the shrink wrap and open the case, it probably wont spin as well in your ps3...

But there would be no time to do that. There'd be races to win and cars to buy

This game may make me purchase a PS3 through. With GOW 3 and the impending PS3 Twisted Metal, the temptation grows by the day. Forza 3 is good, but it just doesn't have the same addicting quality or vibe that Gran Turismo has.

Gotta say Prologue really dissapointed me, I know it wasn't a full game, but even the basic mechanics were just dissapointing. The recent GT5 demo though got me excited again, the weight distribution when turning was drastically changed, and the what looks to be improved graphics from these trailers doesn't hurt either. I bought the official GT wheel last summer, and even though I feel incredibly nerdy with it sitting in my room, gotta say it makes racing games a hundred times better.
God I hope this comes out before summer, great way to kill time, rather than working to afford a car upgrade in real life, I can play GT and work on my racing to buy a fake car upgrade.

Look at the reflections on the metal parts of the seat belts in this video. This game raises the bar for attention to detail.

What do you expect, considering Kazunori Yamauchi is a bit past borderline obsessive with such things.

You say that like it's a bad thing

Finally a video of a Lamborghini

Is that a white Ferrari?
Wed Apr 07, 2010 12:08 am
Yeah, a white Enzo I think. Doesn't look as good as red

Hard to mistake anything else with that familiar front design. Ditto, looks odd in white that's why I had to ask.
Wow, didn't know the Enzo has auto-adjust spoilers or is that car damage (trunk being open)?

I suppose it's an air brake like on the Veyron or SLR McLaren.

Don't blow out your load too early Phil.

Why does everyone here keep saying that? It's a game that I'm excited about, not porn.

I started this thread to keep anyone here who is also interested in the game up to date with news and stuff.
Sat Apr 10, 2010 1:59 pm
What's the difference, everyone is excited about pron! Don't take the comments too seriously Phil.
Sat Apr 10, 2010 11:27 pm
If you don't know the difference between porn and a racing game then I can't help you

I'm not taking them seriously, they just annoy me because they contribute nothing and are just stupid.
Sun Apr 11, 2010 2:55 am
Why so serious?
On Topic, the game should be a need for a console keeper. At least for the graphics,it looks good.Wonder if they won't blow it with the gameplay and realistic stuff.
Sun Apr 11, 2010 3:03 am
He's serious because he loves his cars in a racing game damn it! Now shut your mouth TheDee.
It's Gran Turismo, gameplay and realism is automatically a given. The only thing that may be of concern is the in-game application of damage to cars on how it will look like and if it will affect gameplay in a significant way negatively.

GTPlanet.net wrote:33% of People Waiting for GT5 Don’t Have a PS3If you’re reading this site, you probably know Gran Turismo 5 is a big deal for the PlayStation brand, but we can’t often quantify that into numbers.
Data collected by marketing research agency OTX GamePlan, however, gives a peek into stats you know Sony is taking into careful consideration.
According to their
latest survey, 33% of people who plan on purchasing GT5 don’t yet own a PlayStation 3 console to play it on.
In other words, if GT5 sells anywhere close to GT4’s 10.9 million copies, there will have to be several million consoles out the door along with it.
For a system that sells around
10 million units per year, that would be healthy increase.
Without a solid release date for the game, though, those consoles could be sitting on the shelf for a while…
