Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Is there anything more pointless than fireworks? People trying to save money all year and then throw it away on something like this.

I ended up going to my friend's workplace and then chilling with him after he got off work. He was suppose to finish work in time to be done at 12:00, ended up not getting off until 1:10ish. We just chilled for a few hours at some lounge/restaurant while talking about life, the past year; then we just drove around to continue the conversation. It was alright. Good to hear about him.

For the actual countdown, I just spent it in my car basically. Yay.

Yay, Twilight Zone marathon.

I slept from 5 pm till about 1 or something and then I hit snooze several times for 3 hours, ended upgoing to work at 6 am. Felt like shit so I just made my section tidy and took off. Not sure if I even want to work there anymore. If I knew that I wouldn't have felt like going to work I would have went out to enjoy the countdown.

It turns out that there was a small fire with one of the bulbs that hang down in the wine aisle lighting the shelves last night. A courtesy clerk used a fire extinguisher on it and now the shelves and bottles have a layer of dust all over them.

:chug: Here's to a better 2010 than 2009.
