Updated. Keeping the dodgy outdated Pinoy flag.

Honestly I would still go for the eight-rayed sun in the flag. I mean, no offense to the Muslims, but, the rays symbolize the cities/towns who first revolted against Pau Gasol and Spain -- Manila being one of them, and that time Manila was in part, governed by Muslim Pinoys.

It's just another publicity charade since the elections are coming up. Gotta suck up to the different sectors. I've seen pictures of food given out to the flood victims with candidate's names on it.

Yes, we're all angry with the shenanigans of the politicians at this moment but let's keep it at
this thread.

This would look so much more organized if smaller flags were used.

There is no way in hell I'm going through and changing all those flags again.

lol
Here's an idea, showing off more than just the respective national flag.

At the very least give a reason on why to be proud of your hood and flag.
Heck, I may not be from this hood but I know that I would salute this particular flag if I ever see it:

Of course the Australians in this thread could give their own favorite reasons of salute to their hood
.

9 Philippinos on top followed by 5 Americans and then 3 Australians so far.
BTW, you forgot to include yourself in the list, coalblacksoul.

Back in June, I was down in Canberra for the long weekend for a friend's birthday. The trip included a visit to Parliament House, since one of our friends is English and has been living in Australia for a little under two years, and it was his first time in Canberra. As we stood in the rooftop garden/sitting area/tourist attraction thing, looking up at the Australian flag, he commented "There's only one thing I like about that flag." I immediately replied "Yeah, the Southern Cross is great, isn't it?" We all laughed, and Australia claimed another victory over England.
And that's why I salute the Australian flag.

Why did you guys keep the stupid Union Jack anyway? Why not go all Canada about it and just get a flag with a kangaroo on it?
