April 12th the Double Down is coming out everywhere

The new KFC Double Down sandwich is real and it's coming April 12th! This one-of-a-kind sandwich features two thick and juicy boneless white meat chicken filets (Original Recipe® or Grilled), two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel's Sauce. This product is so meaty, there’s no room for a bun!
The Double Down comes in two versions – Original Recipe® or Grilled and the nutrition information is below.

I realise it's required by law, but seems to me if you're hankering for one of these you're not too concerned about the nutritional value.

Worst thing about this? There's a KFC within walking distance of the class I have at lunch time

5 bucks for it and it is my new favorite fast food sandwich now. The colonel sauce.....fucking amazing.


Every once in a while someone will pick up McD's for breakfast and get us a sausage mcmuffin with egg and a hash brown, turns out that breakfast is more unhealthy than the double down.

I don't feel like I'm going to die, I do feel like I just ate something really unhealthy, but that tasted awesome and filled me up (well, along with a taco)

I saw the commercial on TV for the 1st time last night. I wife could not even believe that something like that actually exists. I might give it a try out of curiosity, but that's unlikely.

I hope that thing becomes a success there, so it can be available in here also. The KFC's here have salad overload in their menus, like it's healthy or anything.

Only 540 calories? Could have swore it was supposed to have twice that... As gross as that looks, it also looks pretty damn tasty. May have to pick one up some day.

I hope they eventually bring it to Canada. It'd be a good cheat meal.

540 calories is petty good. My mate was bitching about being skinny once, we were looking at the nutritional info at McDonalds to see how much he'd have to eat to put it on. One meal was over 1,000 calories
