Freddy Got Fingered (the Backwards Man is genius)
White Chicks
Contact (don't know why I enjoyed it (except the "my father is alien" thing)... perhaps because of my sci-fi flick enthusiasm)
Troy
The Waterboy

Looks like there's a fair few tributes to the Backwards Man piece on YouTube.
The Waterboy
That's a fun movie. I don't know if I'd call it a bad movie per se, it's standard Adam Sandler fare (which I guess does qualify it as a bad movie for some people), like a lot of Sandler's movies of that type it's decent light comedy.
Fri Jul 17, 2009 1:39 pm
But it's not critically acclaimed (as how critics describes every Sandler movies abysmal). His remake of The Longest Yard can be put on the list also

Fair call. Of course, his movies are usually not ones that will please your average film critic.

Ohh whoops. I missed the "favourite" part.
I guess:
1. Dumb & Dumber
2. Van Wilder
3. Super Troopers
4. Rambo
5. Commando

One of these days I'll have to give Super Troopers another look. I hear good things but when I watched it, the only part I really liked were the shenanigans in the last five or ten minutes.

I loved those two (Troy/Demo Man) as well, especially Demolition Man. So many great quotes.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Demolition Man is objectively the greatest movie of all time. You couldn't top it if you tried. No one could. It's impossible.

i missed this topic and this nut bumped it so ill add my top 5 god awful movies that i love
1. Kung Pow Enter the Fist-Cracks me up consistently
2. The Spirit-No depth, no plot, no effort...hilarity ensues
3. Live Free or Die Hard-Not a "die hard" movie persay..but entertaining all the same.
4. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas-Very few people i know call this a good movie...and reviews of it arent favorable...but i love every second
5. Where the Buffalo Roam-suffers from the same ailment as Fear and Loathing..friends dont get it due to a lack of appreciation of sheer ridiculousness.

Got your point, dude. I did enjoy watching it at the same time feeling depressed after watching. Nice concept though.
Sat Aug 29, 2009 4:59 pm
Like i said...reviews for it tear it a new one, people i tend to have similar taste with hate it. I seem to be the only one who appreciates it around these parts....
Now in barstow on the edge of the desert?
That a whole different story

It's usually well rated by "users" in many places but the critics have it a 0% on rottentomatoes for the "Cream of the Crop" last I saw. (And like 45-50% overall.)
Sat Aug 29, 2009 11:55 pm
Wow, I didn't know that.
Well, it's my favorite movie, so I'm not too objective about this one.
