I remember being so pumped for the sequel to WWF Warzone and feeling really disappointed after playing it for the first time. Looking back, it's not a terrible game per se but few of the talked about features made it to the final game and despite the expanded and updated roster, it didn't feel like much of an upgrade. Perhaps it's because I'd grown fond of the engine used in WCW/nWo Revenge that would later be used in THQ's Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy once they got the WWF license.
Heh, I remember when Attitude came out. I ran up to Blockbuster to rent it and they didn't have any copies in at the moment. I walked on the door and started to head back to the car and one of the employees ran out of the store and yelled. One of the customers was just returning a copy. Was pretty sick, really cool of the dude to do something like that.
Anyways, I used to love that game. I remember I was so hyped about it too. My cousin and I used to create so many wrestlers and just simulate matches between them. It was pretty fun. Remember how many wrestlers you could create back then? You could create like 10-15 wrestlers per profile/section and you were given like 10 sections or something. It was nuts.
