That's assuming it's an original and not a reprint. Either way, that's pretty cool Sauru. I've got a lot of Jordan cards stashed away but none of them as rare or valuable as his rookie card.

To be honest, I wouldn't buy a card for 10$, maybe some nice AI one, or players like Rondo, Ellis.. Maybe MJ himself or someone great, maybe I'd buy one for 5$ if someone would offer, otherways I don't really see the point of it.

The point is buying them when they cost 50 cents and re-sell them twenty years later for 5 grand (i.e. Someone who bought an MJ rookie card back in '84 could probably buy a car now if he still has it... ).

the hard part is finding someone to pay you the full value of it, if the cards listed value is say 10 grand they will offer you say 7 maybe 8

If it is made by fleer and it`s not a reprint like andrew said, , prices are going up fast.

How is that a rookie card? It's from the 86-87 season, not 84-85...

Maybe they released the RC card series later, some oldschool collector knows it better.

1. Graphic novels: Batman related mostly but I also collect others if it interest me.

2. Books: different titles that interest me also. I usually buy the paperback first and if I want it in my collection I buy the hardcover, one of which is the IT by Stephen King (not a reprint). Also old books that are at least 30 years old. I have a book that is a U.S. Army manual of sorts that's like a scouting report of Japanese weapons, planes, and vehicles used in the war.

3. Strips collection: Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side cartoons. Still on-going, my sights are set on the final piece of the collection, the compiled 2 big book set of all Calvin and Hobbes strips and the 4? book comprehensive set of The Far Side cartoons.

4. NBA cards: notably AI rookie card (hoping to cash that in one day), Clyde Drexler in his final year in Houston, Hakeem Olajuwon when he won his MVP.
I also have a Jordan baseball card, I wonder how much will that be worth. :|

5. Old coins that I can get my hands on.

6. Does porn count?

Jordan common bulls cards are pretty much worthless, there are so many of them. Jordan game used and numbered cards are the ones what could bring a hard cash in.
Also Jordan Wizards cards are pretty expensive, commons starting 10$+

I can send you a AI rookie card if you want, for free.

Prove it. PM me for delivery details.

I'm not talking Jordan Bulls. It's a Jordan baseball card, it's that phase in Jordan's career where he was at his absolute worst, as a baseball player.

Perhaps, considering part of my collection included these:

Edit: Why would anyone send a free AI rookie card? Drex must be either pissing his pants or getting a hard one right now.

That is so ghey when you stopped collecting those kinds of stamps.

Kbryant8 you are aware that I may live in a different country than you (I don't know where you're from) and that I'm too cheap to pay for delivery charges.
But if you're still willing to shell out for everything...

My grandmother has letters with British stamps from WWII on them. My great-grandfather was in Sicily when the Allies landed and was taken to Corsica by the British.

He was POW for seven years before he was sent home. Of the few letters he sent, most had British stamps. I wonder how much they're worth right now...

Exactly. I imagine a complete series (especially those comprised of rare inserts) would also fetch a fair price these days.

If they're in mint condition and if they're rare, then they can be worth in the double to triple digits. Pretty vague as to value, but it's like that with collectible cards and coins.

I think Fitzy will pay an arm and a leg just to get that Mercer jersey from you.

Jerseys... I think I had a Joe Smith and Bobby Hurley rookie jerseys  One turned out to be just an average player at best, and the other one got his career ended early due to a car crash. Don't recall where they are now, might have gave them to cousins in China.

Now only own a Yao CNT jersey, Yi CNT jersey, Allen Houston , and Paul Pierce jersey. Also own a pair of T-Mac Nike jerseys from China (most likely fake).
